Haven't got any info about this farm. When it was built, who has lived here or when it was abandoned, I have no clue. But a very nice location to do it was!!

My Boy came to Brazil with me for two weeks. We've been keeping him busy.
Including feeding him lots of local food.

Forrest made some tapioca. But it didn't set. And he tried to color it yellow, but then he added some red and it looked like "puke" (his words), so he covered it up with blue. Thus, the green liquid tapioca "pudding."
As for the martini glass, I believe it was just the handiest glass around at the time.

Don't try this at home. No seriously, don't! When frozen this stuff sticks like glue to the ice cube tray, and the machinations I went through to extract it defy description!

I'm trying to use up a lot of extra raw milk this week, thus the tapioca. It's been years since I made that. The kids used to love it, and so do we.
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
½ cup vegetable margarine
1 tablespoon cardamom
1 cup cran-raspberry juice
1 cup raw sugar
4 tablespoons tapioca
1 cup raspberries, pureed
½ cup port
1 cup soy creamer
Mix first 5 ingredients and pat into bottom spring form pan. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
Bring juice, sugar and tapioca to a boil- stir until it begins to thicken – add port.
Cool 1 hour then mix in creamer and berries.
Chill in spring pan overnight.
Scoop out- garnish with 1 teaspoon sugar and some white chocolate- torch and soft serve.
Completely cooked, but not as round and shiny as I'd wish
Also known as sago pearls or bubbles from 'bubble tea'
