... I had an extra tile from my previous batch of tinted tile swaps and I decided to go with a style I don't usually try.
I usually prefer an airy feel, so I don't compact my tangles too densely. But this was fun, and I really ended up liking the outcome!

Harpers have sung, and poets told,
That he, in fury uncontrolled,
The shaggy monarch of the wood...
XVIII. (Canto Sixth 532-537)
O, what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practice to deceive!
A Palmer [2] too! - no wonder why
I felt rebuked beneath his eye:
I might have known there was but one,
Whose look could quell Lord Marmion."
XXX (Canto Sixth 902-907)
[3] O, woman in our hours of ease,
Uncertain, coy and hard to please,
And variable as the shade
By the light quivering aspen made;
When pain and anguish wring the brow,
A ministering angel thou!

A very simple tangle with grand results.
Blog post: bit.ly/-starseed
StarSeed is a very versatile tangle and may be drawn in a grid, or organically, with or without embellishments.
You can vary the shapes you create to form a huge variety of patterns and meta patterns.
Please feel free to refer to the step outs to recreate StarSeed in your tangles. However I reserve my rights to these images and they should not be copied or reproduced. Thank you! - Debbie New CZT 18

I just bought another 10 rolls of this discontinued Fuji Pro 800Z because I love it!
Handheld magnifying glass close-up, 50mm FD lens.
This one in color I added a challenge for myself. I had to find all the tangles in my books, not on line. Tangles used: Flora by Sandy Bartholomew, Fronds, Growth, and Tufted Leaves by Suzanne McNeill, Lacy by Sandra Strait, and another Suzanne McNeill, Dandelion Seeds, of which I did a variation. All but the leafy vine on the outside (Sandy Bartholomew) are available in the new book - Joy of Zentangle.
