I really enjoyed doing this one, nothing better than drawing and painting on a cake :)

This is Paradox a monotangle Zendala template from the Brightowl challenge

These came out a bit dark, but they were so cute I just had to keep them.

This is my new tangle, Amarin which means "immortal" or "undying" in Thai.

Blog post: bit.ly/-amarin

Amarin is an organic tangle, varying the auras give it different looks. Variations featured in this series of photos include:

- Single bloom Amarin

- Cluster Amarin

...

Please feel free to refer to the step outs to recreate Amarin in your tangles. However I reserve my rights to these images and they should not be copied or reproduced. Thank you! - Debbie New CZT 18

This little gem is on its way to Ecuador :)

Tangled is everywhere right now! I made these little cupcakes for a special 4th birthday party... Read More

Anybody else freaking love this movie? I know I do...saw it again last night (2nd time) in 3D and it was just wonderful as usual.

The lantern scene is my favorite scene in the movie, soooooo pretty.

I also have a huge cartoon crush on Flynn lol xD. It doesn't help that I think Zachary Levi is yummy too, I think...

Clearly this is post-haircut.

Last month I've ordered this Tangled paint-by-numbers kit, and yesterday I just finished it. It's quite interesting.

Tangled Easter eggs (loosely after Sue Jacobs' Eater egg tree, as seen here: suejacobs.blogspot.be/2012/03/tangled-easter-egg-tree.html). White gel pen and more on cherry red Clairefontaine card stock.

Tangle Pattern, designed by my nephew Timothy (age 13). He designed this the same day we introduced him to zentangle. (See flic.kr/p/dVdn5z for steps)

my friend's daughter just celebrated her 5th birthday and i was asked to put together a Tangled cookie platter for the party. i completely forgot to take proper pictures, but luckily i did take a couple of random photos just for myself while they were sitting on the cooling rack. this isnt the best photo, but you get the idea:-) since my platter photo is a bit messy from being taken at the party, i thought i would post this as well.

These are so much bigger than they look from the motorway.

This is a pre-strung tile which has only the tangle pattern Verve.

Tangled tree catching the afternoon light.

The branches of our climbing hydrangea are all over our back wall and fence and very much tangled. However, there will soon be lovely yellow flowers bursting from all the buds.

The cabling for the lower chassis - 2.2 km of it!

Zendala Dare 9 from thebrightowl.com. Thought it looked a little busy, but I still like it. Lots of tangles from Sandy Bartholomew's book, including two from Sandra Strait. Played with framing after looking at some of ledenzer's beautifful framed work.

Picture Spring 2011 Day 3: Step Out Into Spring

"...grab your camera and from where you're at, take 30 steps and take a picture of what you find there..."

This the the Heart from my Tangled Love tutorial. I have made several of these for family members - but as usual, I made my own last. All of the hearts have different bails - this one was made almost 2 years ago in preparation - I just finally got to the actual pendant. All have Iolite trillion briolettes in the center of slightly different hue intensities - this one is the darkest and also the one that tends most toward purple - although I am not sure I caught that.

All of the hearts are somewhat individual, but this one differs mainly in the application of LOS, making the details really shine. I guess it could be considered a darker, moodier piece than the others. But actually, I consider it protective - the cradling dark blanket signifying protection of a beautiful but delicate and easily broken center.

There is another photo of the back side of this heart.

Completed this lovely tile from Lisa Fedele a fellow CZT18 in USA. I am so in love with her rendition of Angeleafe! I will show this at class soon!

The cake and cookies together.

I saved little bits of leftover embroidery floss snippings each day as I stitched - over the past couple of weeks and glued them to the page.

I may keep adding to this page until it is completely covered ... but for now, I am ready to move on.
