The other side of Mostly Mums. Another tangled hand. Used several tangles I've never used before: Zahara, Strung Out and Thlychum by Molossus, and Enyshou by ZT. Also used flux, betweed, cadent, zander, and mysteria - all by ZT.

Tangled ~ These bikes are used at least once a week on Sundays for the ride down the hill from the Zoo in Washington Park. They're taken up to the Zoo on the Max train. All in keeping with the Keep Portland Weird theme.
This new figure set is from JAKKS Pacific, I thought it would be released in the fall, but I just found it is already on sale in Amazon.

a little semi-technical rumination: i usually frame shots in an optical viewfinder, wearing glasses, then crop a little around the edge later. today i decided not to crop and compose. i just wanted to let my eye dart around even more, tangled in that urban skyline.
(i also started a thread at Technique if you want to post one of your cropping decisions there!)
Had fun today at my Thursday evening class figuring out Arukas. Complemented it here with Bunzo, Tipple and ??? Can somebody help me out? Can't remember the name of that starfish-like tangle (it looks a bit like Sh'rock and Fünf, but is neither...)

This is the smoke from a piece of incense. I did it in my light box, the converted to black and white then inverted it and processed it in Lightroom.
Thanks Everyone for your kind comments/faves, I do appreciate them all.
Have A superb Saturday.

This is Spanish Moss wrapped around a little twiggy tree branch but it also reminds me of a twisted mess of nerves viewed with a microscope.
Tangling on paint chips from the local DIY store. I've described the process on my blog (in Russian): dotslinespatterns.com/category/projects-tutorials/.
I've also put together a short how-to in English, you can download it here: dotslinespatterns.us8.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=883d...
