Long Grove, IL has its timeless elements, but the rows of mailboxes lining some of the town’s streets feel distinctly of the past. Email is so temporary compared to a handwritten letter, and the grit of the aluminum, peeling numbers and rusted nails on these boxes seem to relate to the tangible nature of an old letter. Don’t suspect we’ll throw too many emails in a box to read for later.

While painting Paul always listens to the stories people have to tell. For example: the story of Georgetine Wong A Foe who looks around from her ancestor’s home, at Ladesmastraat 36.

"Relief is an actuated tabletop display, which is able to render and animate three-dimensional shapes with a malleable surface. It allows users to experience and form digital models like geographical terrain in an intuitive manner. The tabletop surface is actuated by an array of 120 motorized pins, which are controlled with a platform built upon open-source hardware and software tools. Each pin can be addressed individually and senses user input like pulling and pushing."

Some photos from my latest workshop in Moscow. Thanks to Polytechnical Museum ( polymus.ru/ ) for the support and photos.
A big shoutout to Porsche Canada for inviting us and our awesome friends at Tangible to their 75th anniversary event (also celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 911). Being a car enthusiast, this was like a dream come true. We got to show off our live digital graffiti skills at their newest dealership in Richmond, using the super cool Graffiti+ system by Tangible.
We met so many like-minded folks who share our love for fast German sports cars and art. The event was off the charts, with a live DJ pumping up the atmosphere and top-notch chef Joel Watanabe from Kissa Tanto and Bao Bei, along with the teams at AnnaLena and Published, taking care of our taste buds. The front of the dealership was lined with all sorts of colourful 911s, and we were welcomed by a team of valet parkers and the Porsche marketing crew.
We're incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity, and a huge thanks to Matteo Welsh for capturing our work and making everyone look fabulous!
