La catedral de Santa Maria Assumpta, al centre de la Piazza dei Miracoli, és la catedral medieval de Pisa. Obra més representativa del romànic, en particular del romànic pisà, mostra el testimoni tangible del prestigi i de la riquesa aconseguits per la república marinera de Pisa en el moment del seu apogeu.
A l'inici, l'edifici tenia planta de creu grega i la cúpula sobre l'encreuament de dos braços. Avui té planta de creu llatina amb cinc naus amb absis i transsepte de tres naus. L'interior suggereix un efecte espacial similar al de les grans mesquites.
El Baptisteri de sant Joan Baptista es enfront de l'extrem occidental de la catedral de Pisa. L'edifici es va començar a mitjan segle XII: «1153 mense August Fundata fuit haec» («Al mes d'agost de 1153 va ser aquí fundada...»). Es va construir en estil Romànic per un arquitecte conegut com Deustesalvet («Déuetsalvi»), qui va treballar també a l'església del Sant Sepulcre a la ciutat. El seu nom és esmentat en un pilar interior, com Diotosalvi magister. La construcció, però, no va acabar fins al segle XIV, quan la loggia, la planta superior i la cúpula van ser afegits en estil gòtic per Nicola i Giovanni Pisano.
És el baptisteri més gran d'Itàlia. La seva circumferència mesura 107,25 metres. Comptant l'estàtua de sant Joan Baptista (atribuïda a Turino di Sano) a la part superior de la cúpula, és fins i tot uns centímetres més alt que la Torre Inclinada.
El portal, que queda enfront de la façana de la catedral, està flanquejat per dues columnes clàssiques, mentre que els brancals interiors estan executades en estil bizantí. Craft is the design studio within advertising agency US Sydney. Launch of the identity first began with the name – chosen to reflect the level of artistry, proficiency and care in the department that words like ‘design’ just didn’t do justice.
The brandmark that followed is a customised typeface that’s been designed to work with a subdued colour palette and crisp, structured typography. Contrasting textured art paper stock against solid pastels you get a tangible, hand-crafted feeling that combines technical design prowess with old world fine art. A vivid brandmark features in a high-gloss raised print, punctuating the stationery design. Designed by Louis Huosien.
Digitalpress were delighted to interpret the agencies fabulous design by creating beautiful print with new techniques. Printed on our new Roland UV printer using Raleigh Mohawk stock.

The energy was tangible at this year's PMA Fresh Connections: Retail! Over 170 attendees gathered April 11-12 at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott to make new connections and gain new business solutions. From the cocktail reception and immersive UnConference to the optional Produce Rescue Glean and Produce Retail Tour, attendees were surrounded by peers and potential partners at every turn, and the buzz could be felt over the entire two days.
