So since it hasn't gotten about 25 in a couple weeks here, I thought that my tag should be from a warmer, sunnier time! This one is from the Dreams Resort in Punta Cana!
I have learned that I am really not good at SP at all, no matter how hard I try, haha The only ones I end up liking are ones where I have a few clones in the shot or have my face half hidden behind the camera.
So anyways, here are 5 interesting things that you may not know about me, and 5 things that you already knew about me! We'll do the ones you probably don't know first!
1. My favorite TV shows are the Office and Sopranos, before it got cancelled
2. My cell phone number has been through every single major carrier in the US at least once, and through one carrier twice!
3. Growing up I wanted to move to a small town in the midwestern US, once that had one main road going through it and everyone knew everyone else. Not sure why, it just sounded appealing!
4. I have spoken German for 16 years, and was only 2 credits shy of a double major in college. Next on my list of languages are Italian and Russian
5. Christmas is my absolutely favorite time of year, and I am very sad that I have to wait 357 days (as of 1/7/10!) to have it again!

1. I love tequila on the rocks, by far the greatest drink one could have. Although a good class of whiskey never hurt anyone!
2. I am addicted to HDR. I just can't stop
3. The Dallas Cowboys are my favorite football team, and I hate the Pittsburgh Steelers, which doesn't mix well considering I live in Pittsburgh
4. I have 2 tattoos, but would like more. not sure how many more, I just want more
5. The sun and the flares that come with is it probably my favorite thing to photograph!

1. I'm in a wheelchair because I injured my spinal cord at the age of 16 while riding a mountain bike. I still walk around in my dreams though, which is a little weird, but nice.
2. I was a late bloomer and didn't have sex until I was 20 years old and I've never had sex with a woman.
3. My friend's parents seem to always like me. To the point that it annoys some of my friends.
4. I'm currently in the longest relationship I've ever been in, 1 year and 6 months and I met him on Flickr.
5. I used to be shy, but now I'm usually the extroverted one in the room.
6. I'm fairly close to my family. I have 3 half-sisters, 1 half-brother, and 1 full brother, but since I'm the youngest I always thought of them as full siblings. My mother and father stayed married up until my father's death.
7. I get cold sores, which my boyfriend Jesse gleefully points out is a form of oral herpes, even though Jesse no doubt has herpes now too.
8. I'm probibly an atheist, but I tend to think the world is on my side and most people are good.
9. I'd like to get gay married and have a kid or two someday.
10. I'm a bit messy and have several half finished projects laying around at any given time. One of my current projects is pickled lemons.
11. I like traveling, but I need to be back in my own bed after a few days. I also prefer doing something fun during the day over partying at night.
11. The most manly things I know how to do are solder copper pipe and fix irrigation systems. The most girly things I know how to do are sewing, gardening and listening to Beyonce.
12. I hate it when people make you say please by saying "what's the magic word?" I REALLY hate that.
13. Sundays make me a bit depressed.
14. I fart often. Jesse's even thought I was talking to him in the morning when it was just me farting.
15. I think some PDA, like holding hands and kissing hello or goodbye, is okay and should be encouraged. It warms my heart to see two people in love.

Então vamos à explicação sobre o desktop...
Faz algum tempo que uso essa foto pq além de ter sido batida por mim, ela fez o maior sucesso aqui no Flickr quando eu postei, apareceu na página principal do Explore e agora já tem mais de 10 mil visualizações. A unha de morango que aparece nela tbm foi feita por mim e de todas que eu fiz essa é a que eu mais gosto, já que foi a responsável por todo o reconhecimento que ganhei nesse meio artístico.
Ali no cantinho tem 5 fotos que deixo bem na minha visão. São algumas ideias pra nail art que eu não posso esquecer de fazer HISHIOSA :x mas nem vou comentar que ideias são essas, pq é surpresa!

i always seem to have my most inspirational thoughts about life while i am in bed about to go to sleep, i never wake up and remember what i was thinking about though. sometimes i feel so inspired before falling asleep that i have to get out of bed and get up again!
i believe generally the happier a person is, the more attractive they are.
since i have been on flickr, my life has changed a lot. getting to know people on here has just been amazing. i love all my flickr friends so much, you're all so wonderful! joining really kickstarted my enthusiasm to really improve my photography too.
i always try to look at someones profile before making a comment, i find it so interesting to see a brief description of someone along with seeing their photos. speaking of profiles, i have finally updated mine a bit.
i pour pretty much everything i have into my photos. it's all i am passionate about, over the past 6 months especially. nothing beats feeling emotional and going out on a freezing cold winter morning at 6am waiting for the sun to rise aiming to take an emotionally charged photo.
i never follow the news, when something big happens people are like 'how do you not know that?' for example i had no idea there was a huge ash cloud around a month ago until i saw peoples photos of it on here!
i love thick heavy trousers and big jackets, they make me feel safe in the winter.
i love to laugh, sometimes people laugh at me cause i find random small things hilarious, but i just carry on laughing anyway!
i don't have facebook. probably mainly cause i only have a few really good friends. i don't like being secretly nosy, im sure if someone really wanted me to know something they would tell me!
i constantly remind myself that i am incredibly lucky in life. moreso for the simple things like being able to have a hot shower and having fresh running water in the next room. so many people in the world don't have these privileges, it's so unfair and it makes me very sad. i try not to feel guilty, just very lucky.
