Ich war angetan von dem Augenblick als ich bei meinem Besuch auf Santorini, den 3 Tag infolge oberhalb von Oia auf einmal dieses Schauspiel vorfand. Ich habe das Bild so belassen, wie ich es vorgefunden habe, bis auf ein paar kleine Korrekturen....

This is the tag for a miniature rhododendron I bought from Bodnant gardens years ago. The rhododendron really has remained tiny,. The tag has decayed elegantly and is completely indecipherable. Lots of different textures here.

La narradora suele tener diferencias de opinión con su madre que provocan constantes discusiones acaloradas. Pese a todos sus intentos por actuar según las palabras del Señor, por practicar la tolerancia y la paciencia, sigue sin poderse controlar y discutiendo ferozmente con su madre. Preocupada por su incapacidad de controlar sus actos, la narradora únicamente se consuela diciéndose a sí misma que, con el tiempo, su fe en el Señor la librará del pecado y la purificará y que al final será ascendida al reino de los cielos. Solo al leer las palabras de Dios Todopoderoso comprende por fin por qué no puede librarse del pecado y descubre la senda que la conducirá a purificar su corrupción y a entrar en el reino de los cielos.
Recomendación: Muchos son los llamados y pocos los escogidos

Anno 2014 sind die Statistinnen mit ihren Blumenstäußchen noch etwas ungeübt beim Winken und es wird pflichtbewusst in die Kamera gewinkt statt zum Zug.
Anno 2014 war das große Comeback der beiden verbliebenen Frankfurter "Museums"-103 mit den Zugpaaren 118/119 zwischen Münster und Ulm. Im Filstal waren sie dabei stets nur von Freitag bis Sonntag und feiertags anzutreffen.
Anno 2014 war die Oberleitungserneuerung im Bahnhof von Süßen an der Filstalbahn noch in weiter Ferne.
Anno 2014 gab es den roten "Dicken" noch. Dieser verendete final knapp drei Jahre später in Ostholstein beim Verfolgen eines IC auf der Vogelfluglinie mit Motorschaden. Gut, dass ich ihn am 3. Oktober 2014 absichtlich im Bild geparkt habe!

Shot taken on this morning's bike ride.
I wish I had gotten a shot where I could make out the text on the little leg-tags on this bird. If you send the info into DFW, they send back a PDF certificate with some interesting info, like where/when it was tagged, etc.. These tags look a little weird, so maybe they don't even have numbers, who knows.
