Set for Christmas - Day 3
On the menu this evening ... Tricolore salad with ciabatta, followed by a store bought lemon tart.
Set for Christmas - Day 9
This is set for lunch, which I'm just about to go and prepare. It will be feta, tomaotes, hummus, olives, grapes and flat breads. And to drink ... Adam's Ale :)
There could also be yet more mince pies for pud.
Created for a competition event... handmade lighted crescent moon centerpiece (polymer and glass), hand decorated glasses (polymer and glass), handmade fitted table cloth in navy and gold (corner panels), handmade gold table runner, handmade folded star shaped napkins, floating candles and star ornament jacks

captured in the lindner hotel mallorca in bendinat, near palma de mallorca, this scene features salt and pepper mills in a vibrant orange that immediately caught my eye. the hotel, known for its reasonably good food, showcases architecture with a touch of western style. While the interior design may feel a bit outdated, these bright mills add a fresh and lively element to the dining experience.
Set for Christmas - Day 25
And that's it, the final dressed table. Merry Christmas everyone ... I've enjoyed setting the table every day since in 1st December.
Christmas lunch is cooking we'll be sitting down about 2.30pm ish.
Today I've used my best bone china Wedgwood Chorale, best cutlery Arthur Price silver plated Bead, and Edinburgh cut crystal glasses.
The china and cutlery I've had for nearly 30 years, whilst the glasses I bought nearly 40 years ago ... and just look at how small the flutes and red wine glasses are :)))
Day 22
A simple-ish setting for a simple dinner of pan fried salmon and colcannon, followed by cheese and biscuits.
This dinner set is the reason why you don't go browsing the www stores after a couple of glasses of wine, as when the little box pops up saying "selling fast", you quickly buy it :)))
.. not many things inspire romance as well as a candlelit romantic dinner - especially when there's a jewelry box involved! :^
Our friends got married in Sweden last summer, and we were honored to be a part of their day. The Dala horses were my favorite decor that Lara used for the wedding, besides the wild lupine we picked from the side of the roads!
Set for Christmas - Day 11
And this did get used at lunch time today, for the lunch we were going to have yesterday, but didn't.
A dilemma I faced - I favour a classic table so I set a white Thanksgiving table but my daughter felt it needed the pink silk cloth so I reset with the pink cloth but .... I still rather like the white setting. What do you think? Pink or white?
Set for Christmas - Day 6
I was going to do a roast chicken dinner this evening, followed by mince pies, but the OH tells me he doesn't fancy a roast dinner, so I'll have to figure out something else.
Set for Christmas - Day 1
Seems like only yesterday I was setting the table for Christmas and here we are again, another year has gone by.
My plan is to set the table every day on the run up to Christmas Day.
Tonight's menu is pasta with a tomato, olive and chilli sauce for me and gammon and chips for the OH. He is the most difficult person to feed, and says he doesn't like pasta, even though he has never tried it!!! As for me, I don't eat creatures with 4 legs.
For pud, maybe some cheese and biscuits, but depends on how full we are.
