I've made a table runner matching my rainbow pillow (it must be quilted).

The only problem is that we don't have a table in living room:)

The stupid table that we orderd 5 months ago finally arrived today. Other than needing a few more pictures on the walls and crap to fill the shelves the basement is officially done.

Built it myself. 2 sheets of plywood. Foam and vinyl from Galaxy Fabrics. Suited speed cloth from Gambler's General Store.

Who remembers these game tables in the pubs. This one was in the St Fagans pub in Penarth. But no self respecting pub in the early 1980's was without it's Pac-Man game.

The wider view of the dinner table... it's amazing how easy it is to forget what it is like to sit and eat at a table, instead of gulping down slop on the couch.

Table top setup. The room is lit by sunny daylight, but camera and flash are adjusted to block this out (flash to max power, camera to t=1/100 s). Otherwise the two color temperatures would mix. Another nice advantage of using a strobe light instead of daylight: One can easily choose ISO 100 and still shoot without tripod.

I bought this panel at the quilt show, when sewn together it forms a tree, I added the triangles and have made my quilt sandwich. I am quilting the tree right now and then will bind the edges with wood grained fabric.
