The BR May 1988 Table 87 was the first version to be titled 'Express Service' to headline the introduction of the new Leyland Bus Class 155 'Sprinter' DMUs. In this view taken at Nantwich, unit 155 319 was working the 07:47 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central.
Nantwich Station signal box was closed in October 2013 and following a campaign to save the structure from demolition by Network Rail, it was moved in January 2016 to Crewe. Following refurbishment, the signal box commenced a new life as part of the Railway Exchange Training Academy [RETA].

A very good supper. It was Mary's turn for supper and she always turns out delicious and highly photogenic meals.
Compare the upper ramparts of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head and you will note similar rock layers – the remnants of strata pushed up 280 - 220-million years ago and concertina-ed into a massive range. It once stood thousands of metres high, connecting the Peninsula to the Hottentots Holland Mountains (to the east) and covering the present-day Cape Flats and False Bay. Massive erosion has reduced this range to what you now see.

TABLE LAMP XII
The lamp is made of Senegalese gourd.
White carvings are deeper layer of white wood which allows some light to pass through it.
The base is carved from wood and finished with natural oil. The supporting stem is finished with black jeweller waxed string.
Diameters of the gourd are 20 and 22cm, lamp is 39,5cm high.
My husband made this beautiful wrought iron base, so I tried to make a top that complemented it nicely
