IKEA table RAST (pine board). Mezen' folk art (Northern Russia). Finished in March, 2010

Taken at that lovely Italian place on the front near Hove.

Quiet dinner out in the middle of a busy week. The frame on the stairway is frequently bumped and set askew.

View from the Table Rocks. Ashokan High Point dominates the horizon with Slide Mountain peeking out from just behind it.

The legs fold out and then click. There is some lateral movement , but not much - perhaps an inch, and it is fine to lean on. 2 foot six off the ground, and a playing area of 5x9.5 feet - plenty for most games!

Found the old print framed next to a dumpster. Must have been freshly placed. No damage beyond a little water damage. Excellent print. Glass still in tact. Frame is worn but I like that. Took it home. Stacked two boxes, placed wood on top. Covered with a towel. Instant table and picture display. I made the ashtray myself as a child.

Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa, and is featured in the flag of Cape Town and other local government insignia.[2] It is a significant tourist attraction, with many visitors using the cableway or hiking to the top. The mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park.

Table Tennis - August 21, 2013

Photo by Linda M. McRae, www.viewsbylindaphotography.com

We set up just a few miles down the road from this beautiful location just outside Table Rock state park in South Carolina,

I like the effect of this solarized photo as it makes the players stand out. Taken during the 1st Carranz Outdoor National Youth Table Tennis Games at USLS Gym, Bacolod City.

Lots of good food for dinner.

Designed by Filipe Alarcão, Portugal's renowned product designer, the Gem table is made with DuPont's monteli. A new material very similar to Corian. The monteli however absorbs the bonding of specific glue differently, making it impossible to view the pieces connecting. The end result is a piece that looks like it's been carved from a single stone. This item was manufactured in a limited numbered edition and each unit includes a signed certificate engraved in the bottom of each GEM.

Photographed using a medium format Zeiss Ikon. This is not quite as sharp as it should be as the light was dull and I used a shutter speed that was a bit too low for the length of the lens

Suar wood table on limestone base with split center 95 x 41 x 29" H Available at $2900

Last weekend my wife, kids and I drove up to Table Mountain to check out the wildflowers and the spectacular waterfalls. Apparently we missed the height of the wildflower season by a few weeks, and the waterfalls were just a trickle! The wind was a major pain this weekend...it kicked up so much pollen that it took me until about 4am to be able to breathe through my nose. I'm just glad I got to take a few pics when I was there!

Our changes to the MichLUG design.

I'm not ready for the winter, but looks like it'll be time to pack up the patio furniture soon.

My work table is at the window. I love that I can look outside while working. There used to be a very small ocean view from this window, but right before I moved here they built this huge hotel right in front of it.

As you can see I love childlike decorations in my studio ;-)
