The perfect location and setting for that romantic meal for two at the water's edge. The last rays of the sun shimmer and glisten on the water. The occasional boat sedately going about it's business. The perfect end to the day.

The Ring Road to Mývatn passes through rather arid desert landscapes, but the weather conditions can make it interesting. This was the case, with landscapes whitened by snow and a highly structured cloud layer, often including lenticular formations.

A shiny cafe-table on Hindley Street, at dusk this evening. I had to resort to using my iPhone as my compact zoom camera was out of battery juice.

I’m thinking maybe a return to iPhone camera might be in order as it does make posting so easy. These days, my work-life balance is totally out of control and I need to get back to posting on Flickr.
