You can sit and look at the fire pit, or stand and look at West Harwood Lake. I'll let you guess which option I chose.

since the last attempt at a table turned into a storage bench, my 'pukis requested another table and there was just enough room in the caravan for a small one.
it just fits, and holds two tiny pewter mugs i ordered online.
She was in High School yet but headed off to college. So we make this corner table together, hoping it would be useful in the years ahead. The three legs come off easily with a wrench. The triangular "table" on top could be used as a footstool underneath. Hard to believe that this table is over 30 years old and that it has lived in college dorms, apartments & rentals, but is now in her very own home, hundreds of miles from where we made it.

listen :
Don't I know it? Nobody has to say
I've been lucky. Guess I was born that way
I thank my father, his absence has made me strong
And I love my mother but she had troubles with God
No tears for the life that you've led
You've had angels in your head
Did you hear them singing in the end
All the things that you've seen
All the things that could have been
Well I've been everything I want to be
So, no tears, no tears for me
Yeah, I've bathed in sunshine but cherished the fading light
And I heard my heartbeat faulter on a winter's night
I loved a woman but she didn't hear my prayers
So Lord, oh Lord, I'm yours
No tears for the life that you've led
Did you hear them singing in the end
All the things that you've seen
All the things that could have been
Well I've been everything I want to be
So, no tears, no tears for me
Cause someone somewhere's going home tonight
Trying to understand the sacrifice
So save your tears for those left behind
For the life that you've led
You've had angels in your head
Did you hear them singing in the end
All the things that you've seen
All the things that could have been

Had to go view a property for our Niece today, found this old bird table in the bushes, there was something very appealing about it.
I switched out the black Gilbert chairs with the ones from the living room. The bench is made up of two Besta TV bench units. I'm thinking about hiding the content in the bench and what to put on the walls. Any suggestions?
Yellow-crowned Night Heron with Blue Crab on Horsepen Bayou. Just after this shot, the crab successfully wrestled the heron under the water and drowned it.
Spur of the moment decision to take a detour to Table Mountain as a small weather system moved through the area. I know this shot probably has some better possibilities cropped, but I wanted to share the whole frame and actually like the sunburst centered. Why are there cows on Table Mountain? How it OK that they crap all over the landscape and eat all the wildflowers? Maybe they fertilize...but I can only imagine how this place would look without cattle grazing. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
Sanded down this old end table, it was a really dark brown paint with water spots all over it. The plan is to stain and seal it and then to a mosaic in the top with ceramic tile.
Our tuesday flea market was closed today because of snow, so I went to a nearby antique mall as my consolation prize. Found this feedsack that has been sewn into a long, narrow table runner.

This weekend for sure. These tables keep getting moved around, probably by the different groups that use them. iPhone 8+ photo.

Karen and I had a few moments and decided to grab a coffee. We sat at a table near the front window of the cafe. As the sun moved, it illuminated the table next to us in such a beautiful way. I just had to make an exposure.
