No idea about large lamp shade? Alright, how if you get this question; what are the very first thing you touch every morning after waking up and the last thing you touch every single night before getting in bed? Yes, the switch. You turn off and turn on your room light. Probably, the lamp is...

Museum Wiesbaden
Jahrhunderts auftrat.

Spotted in the back of an art shop in France.
Low light high iso and a great stare.
Repéré dans le dos d'une boutique d'art en France.
Faible lumière ISO élevée et un grand regard.
Scrumptious! I love the symmetry, the carpet's geometric pattern, and the lovely blend of warm and cool tones. It's the New York apartment of Robert Burke; he designed it with help from Todd Romano.
Photo from Romano's website: www.toddromanohome.com/portfolio.htm.
Halloween themed table lamp.
I used a simpe (non LEGO) table lamp with a simple socket and a switch and surrounded it completely with LEGO.
There's a black cat, a pumpkin, a (rainbow) ghost and a vampire castle.
It's built in a modular way, so that each side panel can be easily removed and replaced by any other motif when it's not Halloween any more.
Classic beauty... and contrary to what many people believe, a Tiffany lamp is nothing to do with the jewellery company of the same name – nor indeed, the perpetually elegant Ms Holly Golightly. Instead, it’s meticulously designed and handmade by the company founded by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1943), an American artist and designer noted for his work in Art Nouveau stained glass. He created his first lamp in 1895 or thereabouts – and the rest, as they say, is history.
I photographed this short set of images, with the manager’s permission, at the Tiffany shop in the Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – quite the most upmarket shopping mall I’ve ever visited.
sun lavishing warmth both on my weeping fig and on the lady of my painting on the wall..He does it everyday in the morning, only I do not witness it ,me being such a night owl.
yeah ,within only 8 days of joining Flickr and 4 days of uploading this photo ,it got 111 views so far! Thank you all for loving it.
4 new panels for my Lego table lamp: a butterfly, a cactus, a bird and a flower.
Built already in August but I forgot to post them here.
It seems the Easter Bunny comes in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and incarnations, and can be found hanging around just as many different characters.
As far as this character is concerned; two things... Don't play with the switch and don't plug him into The Clapper.
And one last thing...
This is a time when a shadow can work for one's benefit.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
I'm still behind and catching up - See you soon.
I built 4 new panels for my Lego table lamp: a nativity scene, a snowman, a chapel and a present under the christmas tree.
A Boy Scout gives a three-finger salute while wearing his uniform as he poses for a photo in a living room with distinctive furniture and decor dating to the 1960s. The same sofa and wall decorations appear in a pre-prom photo, and the same boy appears with his sister in a Christmas photo.

You know me... i try something and i try it again till i am comfortable.. today i knew the technique.. so just spent 15 mins with pure experiments... and another 10 mins on picasa... this is one of the 8 shots i really liked...
Technique.. same as the one used for earlier shot.. reverse handheld 18-55mm kit lens on canon RebelXS (1000d).. not even the reversal ring.. just manually held...
I guess i am going to get totally mad in a few days if i continue to work on macros...
this ant was barely visible to the bare eye and look at the details in its eye.. the reference point is the sugar.. a REALLY small piece of normal household sugar..
