I decided to use only my Nikon Coolpix S7c to see how it performs in this setting.

This is also one of the first pictures I took with my new Canon 20D, just checking out its abilities.
Another composite, 3 photos: the background, the ball, and me. I needed to do 3 photos, tried to do it with one but I couldnt time it properly to get the effect that I had wanted and the shadows coming from me were too harsh. 2 flashes, one on the hotshoe with a bounce card and the other to my left in the photo
Last weekend my wife, kids and I drove up to Table Mountain to check out the wildflowers and the spectacular waterfalls. Apparently we missed the height of the wildflower season by a few weeks, and the waterfalls were just a trickle! The wind was a major pain this weekend...it kicked up so much pollen that it took me until about 4am to be able to breathe through my nose. I'm just glad I got to take a few pics when I was there!

Three tables were completely covered in crawfish and vegetables. And beer. (Or Mike's hard lemonade, if you're the husbear's mama.)

On Sunday we went for a hike at a local park. Finn was very excited and wouldn't settle. So we took him to the beach to burn off some steam!
When He gets tired he likes to sit on things off the ground?! (Maybe he thinks there's going to be a flood?!) At the beach he decided the picnic table would make a nice resting spot;)
Btw, this is just before the sun set. That's why the lighting is so golden:)
Some owners do not even take their dinette table along, but we like it, even though we don't often use it, especially inside, where it spends most of its life upside down on the spare bed. But, in addition to being an essential part of the dinette-bed-conversion, if you find yourself in a camp that lacks a table, it's pretty handy to have. Livin' Lite has even made the dinette benches removable and the cushions are boat cushions, so the whole dinette can be moved outdoors and even left out in the rain!

We have a Landseer male, a big dog with needs for a stand for its food and water. The old table was in bad shape, so thought I could make a new one, easier to clean. Big dogs can make quite mess if they want. :)
As the main material, I used an old kids bed. I disassembled the bed with a mallet and then cut it into new pieces. To be easier to clean, I made the top part removable, and to avoid possible annoying clickety-clack noise, if the dog pokes the table, I placed rubber pads between the frame and top board. Hope you enjoy this idea.

Summer is just around the bend and I have just started the Iako (crossbeam) extension. A temporary door table some Kauri and Tanikaha a bit of a bending and gluing straight timber and we got it.
The canoe is getting a refit its been thrashed for the last three years and mostly of all I just want to see how it fly's as a trimaran.
