thank you sanders for filling the basement with water then going on tour for 3 months the next day. the foosball table was floating when it first happened.

Clare & Brian of Big Table Farm are longtime friends of Outstanding in the Field. Every visit over the years has been magic for both guests & the Outstanding crew. In its annual selection of the Top 100 wines in the world, Wine Spectator honored Big Table’s 2012 Pinot Noir as #11 on the list. OITF commissioned a short film about Big Table a few years back. Timothy Wastell of Sweedeedee was here last year & the consensus of those gathered was wow! All this should lead to multiple exclamations of “my goodness” along the big table at Big Table.

Chicken cheeseburgers, perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs, tuna tartar, beet & radish salad, and raw corn avocado salsa. Some wine and TJ's orange juice & grapefruit juice. For dessert we had Steve's key lime pie and fruit.
Made about 1818-22 from rosewood, mahogany, brass, marble and other stones by Isaac Vose and Son, Boston.

the table is a recent find from ebay - the lamp shade on top is waiting for a base (belonged to my Nana) and the silver greyhound was a birthday gift from my family
Another composite, 3 photos: the background, the ball, and me. I needed to do 3 photos, tried to do it with one but I couldnt time it properly to get the effect that I had wanted and the shadows coming from me were too harsh. 2 flashes, one on the hotshoe with a bounce card and the other to my left in the photo
Last weekend my wife, kids and I drove up to Table Mountain to check out the wildflowers and the spectacular waterfalls. Apparently we missed the height of the wildflower season by a few weeks, and the waterfalls were just a trickle! The wind was a major pain this weekend...it kicked up so much pollen that it took me until about 4am to be able to breathe through my nose. I'm just glad I got to take a few pics when I was there!
