On a windy fall day I found a sheltered nook in the forest of Fish Creek Park to craft with the gorgeous fall leaves. After collecting a bunch, I was able to make this leaf sun out of the same yellow leaves, each concentric ring reversing the side of the leaves being displayed.
The stems need to be removed so they lay flat, and were used around the outside to accentuate
the inner circles. Red Clay and green pine growth fill the center. Thankfully, the place I chose was protected from the wind as I had to return the next day to retake the pictures. The first time I did not notice that the camera was on the lowest quality setting. Glad it was still there undisturbed!

Transesterification. Soybean oil in methanol on hotplate with stirbar. We are lysing the triglycerides into Biodiesel and Glycerol.
Really excellent group of folks just dove in with both feet into this workshop and came up with great stuff; plus we all had fun together!

NTH Synthesis explore combinations of electronic sound, video and light. Ranging from organic soundscapes to digital minimalism, their music is influenced by all things electronic.
For ‘Interferences’, visuals are created via a hybrid system that uses analog video feedback, digital processing, object manipulation and generative forms. Custom software provides close interaction between audio, video and light, creating improvised realtime visual music.
