An odd-couple of engines switch out cars at the east end of Rotterdam Junction. The 3491 has been calling the Pan-Am Southern its home for quite some time now, the SD70M-2 is a visitor and an unexpected find.
Doyle McCormack's RSD-5 (with McCormack at the throttle) was switching in the ORHF shop yard when I rode by today.
It's been a /long/ time since I've seen an Alco chirping around (The last ones I think I saw were a pair of the Napa Valley Wine Train locomotives on the last trip Julie & I made down to Napa Valley, but that's been maybe 17 years?)
A nice quartet of switchers sits on the north side of the shops next to the highway. Check out the Penn Central lettering on the Conrail switcher showing through the paint!

switch on 2 was today and went really well. We're delighted with her particularly as there has been some response to sounds already.
Well done eleanor you're diong so well.
We have a lot to learn about looking after them and the like but we'll succeed as I'm sure the benefits will out weigh the faffing hands down!
Completed while at the (Louisville, Ky) Courier-Journal, this piece accompanied a story about an energy saving switch.

as the flowering of the principal host Potentilla verna is well progressed, apparently Andrena potentillae is switching to Fragaria sp. growing profusely at the same location.
I missed the Switch photo contest deadline by less than 30 minutes because I didn’t realise Korean time is ahead of ours oTL I thought I had enough time to finish up a faceup commission but I was wrong :c
But at least I got some portraits of it! Mio is a Switch Sohwa and belongs to WinterDeer/Korone <3

i went to Savers today cuz why not and got me some dolls for under $10.
These ended up being packaged with other blonde generic Barbies and so I body swapped and donated the ones I wanted.
I got Flavas Tika though her face isn’t as refined as my first one, I think I might give her a short bob….
I then found this hollow body clone packaged together with a jointed Steffi Love body so I body switched them and kept the rest. I think it’s the same line as the blue/pink haired clone I sent to @dollsahoy but I prefer this one for some reason. I might put her on a Liv body instead of this one but eh.
I decided to hold onto this Bratz Jade but I might redonate her idek.
And yes, I found a Totally Hair Barbie with her hair intact and her earrings and ring intact. I’m not even a tiny fan of this era, but I feel compelled to own this one because of the repro doll being even worse lol.
