Another shot of the new 46 kV switch pole. The old switch poles here were made of steel lattice, but this new one is made of concrete. I have a film photo I took of one of the old steel lattice switch poles kicking around someplace... just have to find it.

Union Pacific's YOZ60R Yard Job switches cars in Benicia, CA at the yard known as "The Park". The Benicia yard power at this time consisted of only two locomotives (due to one being bad-ordered)...GP38-2 No. 718 and GP40-2 No. 1372.
In the middle of "Lay down the law". I don't have any more photos of that night, it was the night I lost my phone :-(

Had to refit the reversing switch on the top of the gearbox again. This time took detailed photos. I will re-do this using Loctite 243 & crinkle (vibration-proof) washers next weekend (the Loctite didn't arrive in time for today).

Combination Switch, lifted from the steering column of a 1981 Datsun Bluebird. As you can see, this switch controls the lights, high beam, dip switch and indicators on the right, and wiper control on the left.
In this photo I have flipped it over, and taken the cover off, so you can see the user-serviceable components
