A picture from a mercury switch, I've found in an oven.

I think the oven was build in the sixties, but I'm not sure

I been waiting like 16 years to catch this bad boy this close. Finally got it.

Here is a nice switcher I found. Please don't ask where or who or email me for any info. If you know where or who, please keep it to yourself. This is not in RailPics so don't waste your time.

Enjoy the photo!

This is the button array on the right handlebar of my 1966 Sears Gold Seal Vespa. This is one of only a very few scooters sold by Sears, but NOT called Allstate. Just Sears.

But I don't know how all of these buttons work. It won't start, but it could be because one of these buttons is in the wrong position. The top button is a 3-position rocker, the left button is an off-on switch, but no clue as to which is which. The bottom button in for on, and out for off, as is the one on the extreme right. Any clues will be appreciated. This is a zippy little bike with 4 speeds and 125 cc's, and I really need to be riding it.

my mistake, it should be SWITCH Rusi head on SDGr body

I think a switch is science because of how the wires all connect. I wonder how we can just flick the switch and the light can turn on?

another improvement to the switch throw, I combined the dowel throw rod to the throw wire and used a 1" wooden wheel as the knob.

These keyboard switches are one of the unique parts of the Compukit UK101. In the early 1980s, they were available from RS Components and from a supplier called Devlin. They are taller than typical keyboard switches available today. I'd like to find a supplier where I can buy spares in small quantities today. The only markings on the switches are "MEI" and "WEAB". The body of the switch is 15.7mm square and 17.6mm tall. The stem is 9.3mm long and has 4.5mm of travel. The cruciform fitting for the keytop is 4.75mm wide and the arms of the cross are 1.2mm thick. There are two plastic locating pegs on the bottom of the switch, 2.3mm diameter. The pin connections are 1.2mm diameter, 5.4mm pitch.

UPDATE: I've now found a brochure from a manufacturer called "Mechanical Enterprises, Inc.", who made these switches.

Cool tool here.

Seems that Open Switch has many more female readers than male. Weird.

A proof of concept for a PF controlled switch. It uses the M motor and is 100% LEGO.

First, to give credit where it is due. Most of this entire design was inspired by others. Most notably the original PF mechanism and control ideas came from Duq (www.flickr.com/photos/duq/6864496860/in/set-7215762205845...) and Benn Coifman (www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=512023). The ballasting came from numerous sources.

I didn't like the PF motor and the switching mechanism sitting on top of the switch. It was too big, even though the design I found was a streamlined the most I've seen. I decided to try to put the motor under ground level and see what I could come up with.

The major down side is that the switch sits 4 bricks off of the baseplate. So do I have to raise my entire layout up?? That is going to be a LOT of bricks and plates. So that I am still trying to work out.

In case you didn't notice, there are 3 different types of track in this POC. The switch and curve are PF, the short straight is 9v and the long straight is ME-Models. I just wanted to see how they all looked together with the ballast.

I brought this one for my daughter when I saw the super Mario Switch game.

Super Mario 64 is one game that will always be present in me, and this switch version is very addictive.

Also brought digital versions of Splatoon, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, should have brought the game cards instead.

Switch is no match for a PS4 or a Xbox One X graphically, but the Nintendo games are addictive as they can be, and they are pure diversion for you and your family, and the portable side of nintendo switch is a good decision tera are two totally different ways of playing the game, at home and on the go.

Nintendo support is the worst support I have ever come across, but the Switch is a very good product and perfect for all ages.
