A girl on a swing in the Nek Chand Rock Garden in Chandigarh. She was from the nearby city of Patiala, and when I told her I was from there she ran away.
What says summer more than a trip to the park for a swing? And who brings pure joy to my heart?

Attempt at a panning shot. I've done this before with cars and people on bikes, but getting a decent shot of a child on a swing proved to be incredibly difficult, because they do not move very far or very fast, and the chains get in the way.
An ordinary swing set, this is one of the original features of the playground where I went to school. As far as I can tell, the only non-original parts are the plastic sleeves covering the chains - even the seats look like the ones that have been there for many years. I have many memories surrounding this spot from the 8 years I spent at Plainfield Elementary.

Mina and Imriel have been dancing rockabilly jive for years but recently they've started learning lindy hop, which is much harder but also a lot of fun. Mina loves fast swing-outs, she feels like she's on a rollercoaster with the speed of the swing!
