Even at planing speeds, the 44 handles like a lady, responding quickly to the helm to side-step pots. At close quarters she's even better… able to be docked, and secured, single-handed.

Off with Runyon at his favorite place on earth - Swift Run Dog Park (near the intersection of Platt and Ellsworth and across the street from Lillie Park). Visit on Friday June 11th, 2021 early in the morning before heading into work. Love Runyon's morning crew!

Visit with Runyon to Swift Run Dog Park (near the intersection of Platt and Ellsworth and across the street from Lillie Park). From the City site: "The joint city-county Swift Run Dog Park is located at the northeast corner of the Swift Run landfill. It is bounded on the north by Ellsworth Road and on the east by Platt Road. The 10-acre Swift Run Dog Park is maintained in partnership with Washtenaw County with financial contributions from both the city and county." What a wonderful visit with Runyon and I today. He loves playing with the other dogs and it is great to see him run wide open. Pictures from Saturday September 19th during our normal time with his morning crew. He really does like going to the Dog Park with his peeps!
We went out to see some Chimney Swifts roost. They swirl around the chimney and fly in, landing atop each other. It was pretty amazing to watch, but probably not very good pictures on my little snapshot camera.
