Just Pinned to Anti Slip Step Paint: Car Park Marking in...

[EN (IT segue sotto)] "Far surface", the horizon of the Mirandolese valley to the north, the boundary between the blue sky streaked with cirrus clouds and the fields cultivated with mature cereals, delimited by the ditch and reeds in the foreground. [... ] What connected my feet to that distant horizon were the fields.

Boundless, all over the plain, cultivated with wheat, corn, or with greenhouses for melons and watermelons (which in this area they call "female watermelons"), which grow well in this sandy soil which once (many times) is was the bed of the river Po.

Even the asparagus are doing well, while on the other side of the river, in Mantua, they have specialized in pumpkin, from which the tortelli. But most of the plots are intended for cereals, which in those days were already starting to turn yellow. [...]

This is a photo of sunlight reflecting on the surface of the shallow estuary river that flows across Clam Harbour Beach. I have copied and mirrored the image twice (using the Lunapic website) to create this river current symmetry.

Surface Creek is located in Cedaredge, Colorado. This creek is fed by the Upper Grand Mesa. Fly fishing spots are abundant on this stream.

Updated 6880 Surface Explorer, making it more of a mobile exploration platform.

Walkers were used by the Federation ground crew to traverse inhospitable planet surfaces, covering large tracts where exploratory skimmers and other flyers were too dangerous to use.

In later years of the Federation the same exploratory walkers had scanning arrays and other sensors replaced with weapon mounts to defend distant outposts from Blacktron attack.

Inspired by ama77what's brilliantly tiny Mighty Mk3 and in the background of course Legoloverman's brilliantly detailed Recon Walker (now almost a decade old!). These three represent in between members of the family! The old grey family. (did I already say I love old grey?)

The top of this building reminded me of a submarine conning tower. I put a little tilt on the composition to give the impression of a submarine surfacing.

I got my Solarscope 50 telescope out again today to see if there was any interesting detail on the suns surface.

This seemed to be the most interesting bit. There was also a large prominence, but I couldn't seem to get the detail on that.

I found a video folder on my astro-hard drive amongst other Moon shots from 2013.11.23, taken at fairly good seeing. Quickly this is what I cloud squeez out of it.

Aristoteles Crater - close to terminator - is a 87 km wide, 3.3 km deep lunar impact crater. Mitchell (crater) just right next to Aristolteles is a nice target at higher magnification ;)

To the south of Aristoteles lies the slightly smaller crater Eudoxus.

Travelling through a wormhole i felt a tingling sensation in my body.

It was like electricity vibrating, but there wasn't any pain.

This had to be much faster then the speed of light. Before i could blink

,i was out of the Universe .

Fleeting Surfaces (2022)

The work shows nebulous environments where fragments of landscapes reveal and dissipate themselves. Evanescent silhouettes emerge from the blur, noise and compression artifacts that recall the materiality of the apparatus and its eventual obsolescence.

This project was made in the context of a partnership between Place des Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.

Surfaces fuyantes (2022)

Let's get scientific - surface tension, meniscus......More detail on leaf viewed large.

Today, I took the first swim of the year.

A bit early, for sure, bearing in mind that last year´s premier wasn´t until October.

It wasn´t meant to happen, but it did.

In a fraction of a second, I reacted and jumped in.

Can´t even remember now the temperature of the water.

It was wet, that was what I noticed.

I guess that´s about it what you feel, when you are deep down in the stresscone whilst pulling someone up from the deep, on to the shore again.

I´d rather face a drugaddict with a loaded gun in front of me instead of this "deepwater experience."

But she survived. Unharmed.

Wet and scared, but otherwise okay.

I came in a very similar situation, 18 years ago.

My injuries here and now, are, weirdly enough, the very same?

Today I was in the right place, at the right time.
