This is not part of the pictures I was going to take, but I'm feeling too tired to work on the other ones.. so here is one from the same location (GORGEOUS GREEN WATER! :) )
models are Carine and Stinni!
Some prints can be bought here (also iPhone cases etc) : society6.com/marevanardelli
View through the wet windshield in the rainy night.
Multiple reflections between uneven air-water surface and water-glass surface causing a kind of coma and ghost.
Upper brighter area: Vehicles' lamps, traffic lights, and other illuminations.
Bottom darker area: All those reflected on the wet road surface.
Photobattle challenge in our local photo club - 5 minutes per scenario to devise and implement an idea.
Setting: depressing staircase in an old water mill.
“sometimes I enjoy just photographing the surface because I think it can be as revealing as going to the heart of the matter.” – annie leibovitz
“what is real is not the external form, but the essence of things... it is impossible for anyone to express anything essentially real by imitating its exterior surface.” -- constantin brancusi

"Lovely weather to do some planetary exploring!"
Probably my favorite design for Febrovery this year. I love the silly ones very much but hard sci-fi also holds a place in my heart. And this reminds me of the minimal and functional design of lunar rovers. I also wanted to build something that fits with the new cool astronaut torsos from the Creator line. Apparently I own the only set with more than one of those wheel pieces in dark red (8416), so this is also a flex I guess.
Febrovery has been a blast this year. I've seen amazing mocs by amazing people, silly and cool. It inspires me to look differently at Lego parts and to build carefree and have some fun in scary times. So thanks for all the awesome rovers everyone :)

This little Grebe surfaced with his prize, but immediately got a little tense when he saw me lying on the ground behind my camera. He put a couple more feet between us and proceeded to swallow his Oncorhynchus mykiss.

Temporary art installation by Tom Biddulph & Barbara Ryan, at Entrepotdok, Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Light Festival.
A serene winter scene of Lake Pühajärv in Otepää, Estonia, showcasing a tranquil water surface under an overcast sky. Bare trees line the shore, their branches reaching into the gray sky, while dry reeds extend into the water. Fallen leaves cover the path near the water’s edge. In the distance, more trees border the lake’s opposite side, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere of this winter morning landscape.
This was a short ways off the coast at Moss Landing. Hopefully going back next year to kayak in the bays.
ever wonder how raindrops look when you're underwater. here are some images of raindrops on the water surface as seen from the bottom

This photograph was taken during a photography trip to Guadalupe Island in Mexico. Guadalupe Island is a white shark hot spot and in my opinion the number 1 location for observing/ photographing great white shark behavior. The gin like water is so clear that it allowed me to experiment with photographing underwater using only natural light. These photos were taken using a combination of surface and submersible cages that were lowered to 10 meters.
Merry Christmas to my dear friends on Flickr. Thank you for all your encouragement, feedback and support over the years, it means a lot to me. I hope you all have a happy, fun and satisfying Christmas and may Santa bring you a nice little surprise on Christmas morning.
Had this idea to explore surface tension with an interesting shape like a raspberry and this one shot came out so nice. Tomorrow, if there's time, I'll try the blackberries.

This image shows part of the surface of Chryse Planitia, near the mouth of several of the giant outflow channels carved by massive floods. At this location the channel is much too large to be seen within a HiRISE image, and this shows an area of level plains near the mouth.
A long trough with aeolian (wind-blown) ripples runs through part of the image. This feature likely formed by contraction of the surface layer.
Image cutout is less than 1 km (under 1 mi) top to bottom and the spacecraft altitude was 284 km (176 mi). North is to the right. For full observation details including images with scale bars, visit the source link.

Here's a snap of one of the T60's taken in the San Juans a couple of weeks ago. One of my favourite moments, surface tension! That moment as the Orca surfaces to breathe where it's above the water's surface but hasn't quite broken through it.
