Any ideas what this will be? :D

(you my well need your screen brightness all the way up to see it..)

Just coming up to surface, this guy lives in my parents' garden pond

The entrapment of a raindrop in a Lupin leaf.

ever wonder how raindrops look when you're underwater. here are some images of raindrops on the water surface as seen from the bottom

Super @modoloalice braving the elements to show off her new #cressi gear. Thanks to @changodiving #underwaterphotography #underwatermodel #modelphotography

I was looking for mushrooms and carrying my camera with me as I often do. I came to a familiar forest lake and saw this old branch peeking above the surface. It has probably been there for years, but hasn’t caught my eye before.

The lake is called Utterträsk (otter lake) and its diameter is roughly 200 m. The water comes from natural springs and due to its location in the middle of a forest and hence great humus content, the color of it is brown or close to black. The interesting thing though is that there are perch living in the lake and their stripes are not the usual light / dark green but rather brown / black! They would look like monters if only they were bigger than the tiny 10 cm that they in reality are.

As the craziness threatens to consume you, take a moment to imagine yourself inside this birds feathers. What would it be like to skim across the water like this? Joy.

Keeping up with my 52 weeks [ I didn't give up ]

I can't wait to buy more color film because those we had I already used all but I have one I didn't develop yet! curious to see what I'm gonna get...It's been a while so I kind of don't remember what I really captured.

I just want to say thank you again for all the messages I got from so many people about my surgery. How wonderful was to feel the good energy from you. It made me feel hugged.

Some messages were about how courage I had to share about my Hysterectomy.

I wasn't thinking about sharing at all in the beginning but the encouragement from my husband and the fact I wanna share real things here. I wouldn't be myself posting just a picture saying "I'm back!" and not sharing what was underneath.

I shared because life has bad moments, difficult moments and decisions that is not easy to deal with and overcome.

Life is not perfect for anyone.

Sometimes it seems perfect on the pictures and gives an illusive image of who you are and what you're going through.

And Life is so much more...

Thank you for making me feel embraced.

“sometimes I enjoy just photographing the surface because I think it can be as revealing as going to the heart of the matter.” – annie leibovitz

“what is real is not the external form, but the essence of things... it is impossible for anyone to express anything essentially real by imitating its exterior surface.” -- constantin brancusi

The park, Hastings.

View through the wet windshield in the rainy night.

Mostly, out-of-focus lights.

Some multiple reflections between uneven air-water surface and water-glass surface causing a kind of coma and ghost.

Upper brighter area: Vehicles' lamps, traffic lights, and other illuminations.

Bottom darker area: All those reflected on the wet road surface.

I haven't done any seascapes lately and I'm missing them.

Some time ago I went to my favourite bridge and noticed the very low tide. And I saw this pipe that I've never seen before. A Zen pipe.

BTW: I also notice that Flickr is doing something to the tones and exposure in my images... The tones and exposure are okay though when you view it large on black... strange...
