A relatively recent discovery in the realm of physics, quantum entanglement is bizarre, eerie, mysterious, and seemingly magical. Albert Einstein shied away from the theory, calling it "spooky action at a distance." Since then, however, numerous experiments have confirmed this strange phenomenon. Basically, entangled particles can be separated from each other, over incredibly long distances--light years, in fact--and still mysteriously change when its partner is acted upon, almost as if there were an invisible umbilical cord connecting them. This seemingly conscious connection between entangled particles even occurs faster than the speed of light, a fact that made Einstein so leery about this possibility. The frontier of scientific discovery always has been a place of wonder, imagination, curiosity and delight, and never more so than in our time. This topic is very complex; this is only the most basic description of the phenomenon, and I am but an enthralled layman. That aside, it's incredibly fascinating--I suggest you take the time to learn a little about it! The ramifications of this discovery are very interesting--some even speculate that people can be entangled in a way, an incredibly fascinating ramification that only suggests something many of us believe anyway, though for different reasons.
Needless to say, the Universe is a big, strange and wonderful place.

When we arrived the sky was overcast, but the horizon was cloudless. It was windy and María José told me that we were still lucky and it would clear up and we would see a good explosion of color. She was not wrong, in a matter of minutes the clouds had almost disappeared from the horizon, but a few remained as layers that enhanced the superposition of the sunlight in its last moments of the day. I measured on the sun, so the tower was dark, but I already assumed that I would have to recover lights; I was not concerned, so when shooting in High Resolution mode, I already knew that I could upload them without much noise. After editing it in Camera Raw, I did a Photoshop clone in the left-center portion of land to remove a roadside billboard and the roofs of parked cars.

The Saint-Michel church, located in the protected area of Dijon, is a 16th-century church famous for its Renaissance façade, considered one of the most beautiful in France. The main façade is unique in its kind due to the mixture of Gothic and Renaissance styles, which is due to the date of construction of the church. The coexistence of these two architectural styles can be explained by the importance of architectural art in Burgundy in the 16th century with the return of ancient forms and the influence of Italian art. The apse, the choir, the nave and the transept are Gothic; the nave was built from 1511 to 1525. Work on the façade stopped after 1570 and did not resume until around 1650. The south or right tower was completed in 1659; the north tower in 1667. Their ornaments with the superposition of the three orders (Doric, Ionic and Corinthian) are of Renaissance inspiration.

In playing with making simple superpositions in photoshop, it's been amazing to discover how so many of my images echo the form of this particular spiderweb that was laid over them. Art really does imitate nature.
