When orbiting Saturn, be sure to watch for breathtaking superpositions of moons and rings. One such picturesque vista was visible recently to the robot Cassini spacecraft now orbiting Saturn. In 2006 April, Cassini captured Saturn's A and F rings stretching in front of cloud-shrouded Titan. Near the rings and appearing just above Titan was Epimetheus, a moon which orbits just outside the F ring. The dark space in the A ring is called the Encke Gap, although several thin knotted ringlets and even the small moon Pan orbit there. via NASA ift.tt/1wTn18w

Edited Hubble Space Telescope image of the planetary nebula NGC 6210, not looking very symmetrical.
Original caption: The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has taken a striking high resolution image of the curious planetary nebula NGC 6210. Located about 6500 light-years away, in the constellation of Hercules, NGC 6210 was discovered in 1825 by the German astronomer Friedrich Georg Wilhelm Struve. Although in a small telescope it appears only as a tiny disc, it is fairly bright. NGC 6210 is the last gasp of a star slightly less massive than our Sun at the final stage of its life cycle. The multiple shells of material ejected by the dying star form a superposition of structures with different degrees of symmetry, giving NGC 6210 its odd shape. This sharp image shows the inner region of this planetary nebula in unprecedented detail, where the central star is surrounded by a thin, bluish bubble that reveals a delicate filamentary structure. This bubble is superposed onto an asymmetric, reddish gas formation where holes, filaments and pillars are clearly visible. The life of a star ends when the fuel available to its thermonuclear engine runs out. The estimated lifetime for a Sun-like star is some ten billion years. When the star is about to expire, it becomes unstable and ejects its outer layers, forming a planetary nebula and leaving behind a tiny, but very hot, remnant, known as white dwarf. This compact object, here visible at the centre of the image, cools down and fades very slowly. Stellar evolution theory predicts that our Sun will experience the same fate as NGC 6210 in about five billion years. This picture was created from images taken with Hubble’s Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 through three filters: the broadband filter F555W (yellow) and the narrowband filters F656N (ionised hydrogen), F658N (ionised nitrogen) and F502N (ionised oxygen). The exposure times were 80 s, 140 s, 800 s and 700 s respectively and the field of view is only about 28 arcseconds across.

Wat Sensoukarahm – Le Wat Sensoukarahm est situé à Luang Prabang, Laos, dans la coin nord-est de la ville près de la péninsule où se rencontre la Nam Khan et le Mékong parmi un grand nombre de temples historiques encore actifs. Sur la rue Sakkarin se trouve le Wat Sensoukarahm, un temple de style thaï construit en 1718 et restauré en 1932 et 1957. Le nom réfèrerait à sa fondation suite à un don de 100 000 kips. Il possède une des plus éblouissantes facades des temples de Luang Prabang avec une couleur d’un riche rubis rouge avec des superpositions complexes dorées.
Wat Sensoukarahm – Wat Sensoukarahm is situated in Luang Prabang, Laos, in the northeastern corner of town near the meeting of the Nam Khan and the Mekong River among a string of historic, still active temples. Facing Th Sakkarin is Wat Sensoukarahm, a Thai-style wat built in 1718 and restored in 1932 and 1957. The name reportedly refers to its founding on an initial KN100000 donation. It has one of the most dazzling facades of all of Luang Prabang's temples; rich ruby red with intricate gold overlay.

An ephemeral structure surrounds the monument in honour of Henry Dundas in St Andrew Square, in the economic centre of the city. Taking this as a starting point, a story that depicts the relationship between the monument and the provisional support structure is created.
The towering stone column stands as a metaphor for a power struggle. It conveys an ideology and occupies a symbolic space. The temporary armature made of wood harks back to the very beginnings of this monumental project. It highlights the nature of the monument-to-be, hinting at the collapse of this outsized column.
While the urban icon still remains in the middle of the square, a disused supermarket on the outskirt of the city will serve as an exhibition space. This show seeks to question the urban structure, the planning laws and by-laws guidelines allowed the project to proceed, and the changes that the symbols are suffering.
The sculpture is surrounded by a provisional structure, an empty framework that creates a threshold, a space that extends the centre of the square. The wooden structure does not come into contact with the solid stone of the monument, but it just approaches without actually touching; it seems to be embracing for afar. Once the announced collapse is fulfilled, the column, now turned into stone ruins, can continue to be ‘re-built’ into the vacated space.
The wooden armature is presented as a way to build desires. It is brittle and separated from power only a few centimetres; like a utopia, a tenacious desire that always fails but resists thanks to the fact that it seems to fulfil a function:
Do not let columns drop.

The artist Jacobo Bugarín visits Edinburgh to carry out a specific project in the new space of Interview Room 11 Gallery. This space, on the outskirts of the Scottish capital, belonged to a well-known supermarket chain. After being abandoned, it was converted into studios for artists by the Interview Room 11 team. The Galician artist will exhibit in the building, still in the process of rehabilitation, to create an installation that belongs to and is in a dialogue with the building. Part of the exhibition will also refer to the monument on St Andrew Square where Bugarín visited in Edinburgh during his first trip to the city.
Jacobo Bugarín questions the traditional modes of representation and receptivity. He proposes a modification to perceiving a specific context/reality through an analysis and/or alteration of the relationships that exist between its elements. It makes a difference to know the systems of relations that intervene in the structuring our perception, and the goal is to make the viewer aware of this. The affections, the distance, the empathy, the superposition of structures or the externalisation of the discourse are some concepts on which his latest works of artistic research are based.
Bugarín had already been part of an exhibition at Interview Room 11, The Oracle, in 2014. In his career, he has participated in solo shows, including those in Baleiro and Zona C, in Santiago de Compostela, the Niémeyer Center in Avilés and the recent exhibition at Laboral de Gijón. He also participated in numerous group exhibitions, such as Velar y desvelar at the Museum of Contemporary Art Gas Natural Fenosa and Project Moscow at the Galician Center for Contemporary Art (CGAC).

Two Elegant Action Figures one with an animal's head and what appears to be a club. Above is a large bundle of multi-barbed spears which were (presumably) once held by a now faded Clothes Peg Figure. A Clothes Peg Figure is still clearly visible above the Elegant Action Figures. The animal-headed Elegant Action Figure appears to have been drawn on top of the upper Clothes Peg Figure, this conflicts with Walsh's chronology since the latter are supposed to be younger. Based on observations elsewhere, however, this conflict could be an illusion caused by a strongly pigmented well-preserved figure (the Elegant Action Figure) underlying a poorly-preserved figure (the Clothes Peg Figure).
