Better than the stupid Renfe cars in Spain.

Erindale Cosmopolitan Cemetery is a cemetery that is divided for people who is not part of Church of England and for those who are part of it. As I walked into the cemetery, some of the tombstones looked entirely new to me which is because the cemetery is divided. Due to snow, it is hard to see the boundary of the two churches #erasure #surfacelayer. I expected to see a lot of #patterning in the cemetery as cemeteries are usually organized in a row or the same tombstones are usually in the same area. This cemetery was very random, but it could possibly be due to snow as flat tombstones are not visible. The ecology around the cemetery to me represents the past and present as some trees did not have leaves and some did #temporality. The building in the far back can represent the future which could also be the present times #modernity #supermodernity. Some tombstones looked well maintained and had some sort of decorations such as flowers or candles to #materiality. While the other tombstones were not as maintained as the others as moss were growing into it which alters its appearance and hiding the letterings and designs in the tombstones #texture #ecology #cemetery

I got a new headset.. one of the kind you hang on your ears. Supermodern. Wow. It's just.. my ears aren't designed for them, they just cannot hold the glasses and the headset and they ache under the pressure. And I lose the headset in the most stupid situations.

And my hair is just everywhere. hahaha.

Oh, today another Marketing meeting, even after 6 months they make me nervous.

Here are my other Mondays.

In an exploration not of what lies within or without but that 'somewhere' in-between, Non [ ] is a journey into the impossible task of defining what makes up that undefinable land that is 'middle' - an unattainable place in seemingly eternal suspension and ephemeral being.

In contemporary art theory, the gallery space has often been referred to as a 'vacuum'. In his book 'Inside The White Cube: The Ideology of the Gallery Space' first published in 1976, Brian O'Doherty describes the gallery as a place which is 'designed to neutralise social space and time from the artwork, to free itself from context.' 'Space' he says 'has now become not just where things happen but now "things make space happen."'

The term 'non-place', originally coined by Marc Auge in his book 'Non-places: Introduction to an anthropology of supermodernity', will be referenced through works which speak about place, our surrounding environments, and the human need to be attached to objects and things, yet to simultaneously be free beings.

Conceptually and directly aligned with SAVVY Contemporary's mission for a 'contestation of time and space', Non [ ] provides a fertile ground in which these non- territories, explored by these artists with diversified visions and backgrounds, will become actual space for the artists, viewers, and works themselves for intro/retrospection and dialogue.

The curatorial team and artists, collectively with backgrounds spanning 4 continents, present a multimedia exhibition including installation, photography and painting and a performance on the opening night. In-line with SAVVY Contemporary's objectives, the show will embody a dialogue between "western art" and "non-western art" in a conceptual, intellectual, artistic and cultural development and exchange.

Second Life is Flat Earth. The floor of ZKM Supermodern Box will offer Avatar attendees seating on an almost completely unfurled globe - the Bonn projection here - still slightly curled like an orange peel for comfortable seating. At the end of each Event in the Box, it folds up - taking any seated Avatars with it - and flies off over ZKM SL Island, Crashing, its shards containging triggers to memories of the Event.

Bij ons is de Carver supermodern. Hier heeft elke bezorger er een, en het liefst een goed afgetrapte cyberpunk versie.

In Osaka I stayed in one of those supermodern box hotels, somewhere inside the labyrinthine railway station. I think you can sit on this thing.

The center obelisk in the Jing'an Temple courtyard. I tried to juxtapose this ancient symbol with the supermodern skyscraper behind it.
