Studio 4°C is a Japanese animation studio founded by Koji Morimoto, Eiko Tanaka, and Yoshiharu Sato in 1986. The name comes from the temperature at which water is densest. It should not be mistaken with Studio 4C which is a common nickname given to the team of assistants of the manga artist Masakazu Katsura.
They are known for marrying the spirit of independent festival animation with a more mainstream anime aesthetic. In addition much of their output is considered superflat with some artwork from Morimoto being featured at Takashi Murakami's exhibitions.

Note: I went through hell trying to get some shots of this because of the guards around, I'm not trying to disrespect Murakami. I'm just sharing my wonderful experience with this exhibit to others who are not able to see this. Please enjoy and I will be posting more.

...Not the best picture, but I had this certain idea when I looked out the window briefly.

"Where do I put 'this rant'?!"
"Oh, I know, HERE!, on this image page..."
"LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES" :
(since it looks kindaaaaa, bad...)
>:[

#0a: I probably shot in Automatic Picture Profile (FOR USING HDR's ....wow, dummy. )
#0b: and Since I'm using Photomatic Pro for the HDRs,
it's easier to use JPEG
#0c: (than having to open up each RAW file in Lightroom (& make them flat as possible, then export them, then bring them into Photomatix, THEN BACK to Lightroom (again!)...
#0d: so using a Auto Picture Profile + JPEG = bad
(I know already, but for some reason I wasn't thinking...)

#01: Probably should've shot in my CineStyle (technicolor) Picture Profile (superflat) & then use THOSE JPEGs...
#02: OR (probably best): just use the RAW files... (& make them flat)
#03: THEN........ BRING them into Photomatix to do all the HDR work...
#04: (then of course, back to Lightroom, for the color correcting... )
