Japanese Takashi Murakami was born in Tokyo 1st February 1962 and is a prolific and world wide known contemporary artist. Murakami tries to blur the boundaries between high and low art and uses both painting and digital techniques in his art. Murakami uses popular themes from mass media and pop culture, then turns them into large sculptures, "Superflat" paintings, or commercial goods such as figurines.

An alternate interpretation portrait of a Cloud Strife figure from Final Fantasy VII. I've always found the whole "Random Battles" thing in those games terrifying. I mean, what if Cloud's actually like Ichi The Killer and he only THINKS he's fighting monsters everywhere he goes but instead he's slaughtering helpless villagers due to a tragic dissociative disorder like Ichi The Killer seemed to have?
