This photo is taken from lovely Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden. A very cool bride with supercool rubber boots.

Shot with a 40 year old Pentax 50mm f1.4 on a 5D MKII.

The Royal Academy of Arts doesn't really need any introduction but I'll provide you with one anyway. Founded by King George III all the way back in December 1768, its centuries long mission has been to promote British art and design via 'education and exhibition' (thanks, wikipedia!). Still going today, independent and privately funded, it seems to be doing this quite well. In terms of the 'education' aspect - the Royal Academy Schools form the oldest art school in Britain, and also . And for the exhibition - they possess a massive collection of art, much of it extremely rare. And they also champion âup-and-comersâ - which they bloody well should do. Go into the courtyard at Burlington House at the moment ad the first thing you shall see will be the current installation, which looks likeâ¦I dunno⦠WW2 era sea mines crossed with a touch of Scandinavian minimalism and some of the decor from a the Casino Night Zone in Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Anyhow, within this hallowed institution's hallowed courtyard you shall find The Keeper's House. It is called this because it was traditionally the place where the academy's Keeper lived (the current ones doesnât live there though, which seems sad considering itâs full of supercool shit). The Keeper did a lot of stuff (though looking after bees and errant footballs were not included) - I think mainly it comes down to administrative work and âkeepingâ the art collection. Keeping it looking pretty andâ¦educational maybe.

Anyhow, within The Keeperâs House is The Shenkman Bar (named after a notable RA architect, I think?). We were invited down to said bar because of a man/cocktail genius/excellent human being named Fabio Fritolli - who I met some months back at the Cichetti bar. Fabio is a bar consultant (I think) - and since this is his current project, he wanted us to come see it. All I can say is that everything is SERIOUSLY on fucking point and that Iâd love to know where he gets his ideas from. Also in attendance was a certain A list celebrity. She seemed also to be having a good time :D

Portrait of Heverson

Enjoy seeing it Large On Black

It's a strange coincidence that I am always the youngest in all the groups I work with or represent (at least so far). I was the youngest when I first gave a talk at a conference and I was also the youngest in the group where I worked.

As a consequence, people I meet people or come across are mature and full of experience. I feel that I am lucky to have friends who are older than I am as it always helps me learn something from their own experiences!

Heverson is another one of my older friends. But, there's a difference. He is so full of enthusiasm and energy when he talks and this is indeed a big difference. Do you see the vibrance on his face? This amazing feature is attributed to his happy go lucky nature. Everyone I meet is unique in some way or the other and he is unique because of the enormous energy that he brings in with him self.

Super Cool Craft Wire (TM) Back Package Label

Second LomoKino film. Still getting to grips with it - the expired film (1994 TMax 3200) was a bit brittle so the bits on the side broke meaning the the teeth had nothing to hold onto to wind on. Bit disappointing, but Jill looks supercool.

Amber, who writes the supercool Culture Slut zine, as well as others.

Cameron Allen talks about the Supercool range.

so Lesley said to Derek, "i bet i can give you a piggyback to that pole" She made it to the pole!! "Drink's great" (nod to Vicky)

This was the one and only picture from what was a supercool night just hanging with a lovely group of friends. Dancing, laughing, drinking, eating, and I even got kissed! (albeit very briefly! ).

This photo was entirely random; I asked Tess if I could take her picture (some time after she served me coffee in Mornings in Paris), partly because I wanted to get someone I'd only met that day, and partly because I wanted to do an interior picture. I really like the lighting in this one, although the framing is strangely tilted. Tess looks supercool, though.

supercool two-tone 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible (Durham, NC 2009)

I had a team of three movers: two kids and one guy in his forties. the two kids did 90% of the labor, the older guy supervised and filled out forms. They carried boxes in a way I have never seen–behind their backs–supercool.

Got myself an Asus Eee PC, here compared against a standard 15.4" notebook.

This is my really great 50s summer cotton dress. The length is just below the knee. I have much puffier 50s dresses, with lotsa petticoats, but I thought that may be a bit much. Is this too garden party? Or just supercool? The pattern is a weird blurry dogtooth print, as though it were made of tweed or something but printed on the cotton.

David bought close to 50 vintage bingo cards. I don't know what he's going to do with them, but he assures me that someday something supercool will come from this purchase...

here we go

Took this at Central in Santa Monica, full name Central Social Aid & Pleasure Club, described as "CENTRAL SAPC is a community event facility, for music, nightlife, art, culture and causes. This organic space is a meeting center for progressive culture, social activist and globally conscious organizations to hold community meetings, benefits, and rallies, in addition to programming amazing indie music & cultivating the electronic scene on the Westside of LA." What a great idea!

Also, had the pleasure of finally meeting fellow Flickrino man of toast and even got to play with his supercool 85mm 1.4 lens a bit. :->

Getting ready to start SuperCool Cinema's screening of Easy Rider & Pink Floyd London 66-67.

ok. so. my friend schmoopie was home sick yesterday. i had planned on making hot toddies, but apparently schmoops was on the mend, so jack and ginger it was.

our friend adriana joined us, not to mention paid for the ginger ale and the pizza. i bought the booze. anyway, we never see adriana anymore, so it was nice to have her around again! she's dealing with a grueling internship for a fashion casting director. she's also playing hookie this week. can't say i blame her.

Supercool sticker by Julie West. Available at her online shop: www.shop.juliewest.com (2.25 x 2.25 inches)

Supercool hardware for podium toppers, including these fantastic WWE style belts, and unique pottery. Iain landed the chainring embossed one, which is totally sweet!

There have been a few arty projects popping up around the city mostly hinting at the commonweath games and mostly on long, dull or (previously) ugly walls, but this is the first time I've seen any used to cover junction boxes...pretty cool. Shame about the flyer.

We created an impromptu house band for our company party: all performances were done on various apps on iPads and iPhones.

Supercool and also sounded great :) See them play live: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFxnWmO-4nE
