I'll be taking a flickr break for a bit to enjoy the summertime. I'll catch up with my flickr friends when I return.
This is my first sunset with a telephoto lens, when I was younger I had telephotos for my T90, but never pointed them into the sun to avoid eye injury. Since my return to photography I mostly shoot wide to standard, so this is something different for me.
The sky was beautiful but was not this red, all other colors having been obliterated. Something interesting going on here, always something new to learn.
This is close to SOOC, very slight tweak to light levels and a solid tweak to the exposure on the house to bring it out of the shadows.

Canadian contributes Banff National Park and Jasper National Park to the world but keeps Kananaskis park for us. Kananaskis park is a provincial park, not as famous as Banff and Jasper NPs. But there is comparable Rocky Mountains and lakes. I enjoyed the most while driving along the peaceful and quiet road. Sunset time, the sun kissed the top of the Mountains, went down quickly behind the mountains.

Wind shear created some impressive clouds above some of the Sawtooths rising above Little Redfish Lake. Due to the high elevation here I've frequently seen and enjoyed some dramatic skies.

The Brescia and Garda Prealps are a mountain range in the southern part of the Alps. They are located mainly in Lombardy but also in Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto, in the northern part of Italy.
Throw a few kids in front of a good sunset and tell them to go crazy. Fun times in Cable Beach, near Broome, the home of amazing sunsets.

Sunset. Fossil dunes are hardened sand dunes shaped uniquely by desert wind . Though it looks hard these are breakable sandstones which changes its shapes very slowly unlike normal sand dunes. Normal sand dunes moves and changes shapes frequently according to wind.
A hoodoo (also called a tent rock, fairy chimney, or earth pyramid ) is a tall, thin spire of rock that protrudes in the desert in dry, hot areas.
