, Netley Castle, Netley, England, United Kingdom, UK
As dusk settles on a November evening, the historic stone tower of Netley Castle in Netley, England, is bathed in the cool light of the twilight sky. The castle's windows reflect the last warm glow of the setting sun, a colourful contrast against the weathered, centuries-old stonework.
Originally built as an artillery fort by King Henry VIII in the 1540s to defend the coast, the castle has since been converted into private apartments, blending modern life with a rich historical past.
