this is Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma, San Diego....a very beautiful vista/ bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean...the place gets filled up pretty quick at this time of the day as people flock to view one of the most breath taking sunsets you'll ever see....this is still quite early and we still had quite a bit of a wait before the BIG SHOW, but there was already some wonderful angled light hitting the cliffs at this point....i used a circular polarizer on this shot as well and then tonemapped it with some color boost just to make the wild flowers on the sides of the cliffs pop out a little bit more.....pls. A very "heavy" over Hatton Cross as the sun sets.
Not the typical Aer Lingus A320 on finals into Heathrow, Aer Lingus have been using their transatlantic A330 fleet on some evening trips between Dublin & Heathrow, namely their EI182/183 & later EI178/179 since the pandemic with all the extra air freight stuffed in the belly.
EI-GAJ " St Carthage / Mochuta ", an A330-330 usually found further afield in the likes of San Fransicso & Los Angelas on finals for 27L at Heathrow passes over Hatton Cross tube & bus station, just shy of the airport perimeter fence on Shamrock 182 from Dublin.
I have had little time to shoot during my absence from Flickr, but on my recent trip to San Diego I managed to sneak away for some sunset shots. This shot is SOOC with 3 GND filters stacked and a slight crop.

Stargazing at Sunset Cliffs - San Diego, California
Although I've photographed the beach countless times, shooting from the side of the cliffs was an entirely unique experience. Living my entire life in New Jersey, I've grown accustomed to sitting and watching the waves crash one by one along the shore line. Here, I was looking out far in to the ocean and well past where the waves were breaking. Watching as the lined up one by one and listening as they eventually crashed against the rocks below.
Thank you very much for looking!

Heres another take of South Garbage at Sunset Cliffs on the Red Skies day. There are so many cool rock formations to choose from!
Panning the surf at Sunset Cliffs tonight. Storms in the Pacific Northwest (thank you very much!) will be providing some great surf by Friday. Today was in the mid 80's, in case you were wondering.
