For those unaware, a barge beached itself during a major storm in November. And thankfully someone with a sense of humour at the Parks Board had the sense to give the barge its own sign. December 19, 2021.
The sunset is not a mere epilogue to the day. It is also a colorful portal to the night when we are given the faculty to converse with the stars. And eat the moon.

Ce pont vous mènera du centre d'accueil aux nombreux sentiers longeant l'estuaire. L'estuaire a maintenant un jeune pygargue à tête blanche résidant quelque part parmi les grands arbres à l'arrière. Pour l'instant, il n'a pas encore trouvé de partenaire. La pêche n'est autorisée que de l'autre côté.
This bridge will take you from the Visitor's Center to the many trails along the estuary. The estuary now has one young bald eagle residing somewhere among the tall trees in the rear. So far, it has not yet found a mate. Fishing is allowed only on the other side of the bridge.
