Tonight in Sydney.
Cremorne Point Reserve.
Photographed at about 8.30pm this evening.
Wednesday, 25th December, 2024.
I have really only just returned from the harbour, and processed a couple of the sunset captures.
So today we went to Gladesville for the Christmas lunch with my sister. Always interesting. She is the boss of the world, lol.
After this ordeal I went to the chilled vibe of Cremorne Point where tonight's sunset was sparkling.
This is the view from along the Cremorne Reserve Walkway, just near the historic 1920s Maccallum Seawater Pool.
There is NO added saturation to this image. It is what it is. A summer sunset in Sydney. The sky tonight was a medley of yellow, orange, blue and purple. It became VERY orange later than this image, but I lost the clarity on the city buildings due to 'noise', and so I am not posting those images.
My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens.
Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro by NCH software.
Title says it all from this sunset capture along Middle River. It did color up nice this particular gray evening at the very end.

Our last night on a wonderful trip to Florida graced us with this glorious sunset. Captured on Cortez Beach on Anna Maria Island.
An unforgettable sunset captured along the coast near Zoutelande in Zeeland, Netherlands. The glowing sky bathes the sea, a COSCO Shipping cargo vessel, and distant wind turbines in a dramatic display of color. A peaceful moment full of strength and beauty.

Beyond the crooked security gate, a variety of vessels are moored on this lengthy dock. (Length of the dock can be seen in my recently posted images )
What especially caught my eye was the light reflecting from the two different light sources, including the reflections under and between the two parallel hulls of the catarmaran to the left.

Brushstrokes of gold paint the sky once more,
Birds pose on the shore, a fleeting scene,
Waves whisper secrets to the sandy floor,
Another sunset captured, serene and clean.

Sunset capture at Attenborough Nature Reserve, located between Beeston / Long Eaton on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border.
There were some pretty neat clouds this evening, low ones, in the sky. My daughter and I decided to sneak out just before sunset after we ate dinner and headed down to visit my dad and take some captures of what nature would have in store for us.
This one was captured a few minutes after the sun was down, just as blue hour was beginning. My daughter was out on the pier taking some sunset captures ... I made her part of my framed view of the pretty clouds and lighting. A lovely April evening where I was in shorts and T-shirt :)
After a heartwarming Outreach Program with the kids of Tanay, Rizal.. the group headed for the famous view decks/grills in Antipolo, overlooking the cityscapes of Manila. We ended up on the 3rd level of Eagle's Nest for some refreshments and sunset captures.... this is one of them.
