The most beautiful sunrise I saw here . At sunrise all the area near soda lake was surrounded by the fog !! We are lucky to hike up the hill to witness the beautiful sunrise moment !! Thank you for stopping by!
This was back in early October when i went out chasing aurora. I got to Glennifer Lake in time to catch the sunset, then just waited for lady aurora to come out and dance....and did she ever dance on this night! The sun is shining now but about an hour ago we had enormous claps of thunder followed by an enormous rain storm. It feels a bit symbolic of what is going on in the world around us.

A bright and frosty start to the day today and it remained clear until sunset. Quite a nice change after all the heavy rain recently.

This was taken to the west of the RSPB Nature Reserve.
This was totally unexpected. I saw the sky warming up, stopped the car and set the tripod up. Five minutes later - this was the result.
Surprise images, totally unplanned like this one - lift my spirits.
Even without my camera I would have been pleased to witness this scene.
