Had just stepped out of a Walmart this morning and as I crossed the lot I looked up, and there it was the sun shining threw what looked like snow clouds. Ray's just bursting in every direction. An all I had was this cell phone to take a picture. So a picture,I guess is better then none.

While most of the developing world has scarcity of water and other resources, the wealthier nations are often using it mindlessly for seemingly important reasons that are often trivial.

Here for instance in one of the many palaces in Vienna, every few hours the water fountain turns on to maintain the lush green of the lawns. It sure does the job perfectly, as it becomes an interesting subject for my photography.

What fascinates me here most is the interaction of the water droplets against the sunlight. Can you see how the rainbow colors express when the two interact. Nature is really amazing...

Edward Hopper (1882-1967) - Sunlight in a cafeteria (1958). In the collection of the Yale University Art Gallery.

The curators explain: "From the time he was a young man, Hopper was intrigued by people in urban restaurants, where strangers had little interaction. Sunlight in a cafeteria captures an unsettling tension between the man and woman who are clearly aware of, but do not acknowledge, each other's presence. This edgy stillness suggests the closed lines of communication in much of modern urban life. As in many of Hopper's paintings, the ambiguity in the scene opens up multiple narrative possibilities."

i played in the snow today! i found so many pretty places dressed in white...glittering, sparkling, twinkling! I actually found myself enjoying it....what a frightening thought for this summer chick!

This fence is on the property of the owner of GOYA Foods...not sure how many acres he owns...but you can't see the house...or barns...or anything but acres of pastures and fences....oh, and one black bull! He did not look cold....but he did not look happy either.

i did look cold, but i looked happy....in the SNOW! Wonders never cease!!

play, listen & enjoy... ♥

♫♪ "...I'm not the only one starin' at the sun

Afraid of what you'd find

If you took a look inside

Not just deaf and dumb

I'm staring at the sun

Not the only one who's happy to go blind

There's an insect in your ear

If you scratch it won't disappear

It's gonna itch and burn and sting

You wanna see what the scratcing brings

Waves that leave me out of reach

Breaking on your back like a beach

Will we ever live in peace

'Cause those that can't do often have to

Those that can't do often have to preach..." ♪♫
