Went with my buddy Steve today to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. We drove the Black Point Wildlife Drive which is a 7 mile driving "hike" of natural Florida wetlands. All of this is in the foreground of NASA's Cape Canaveral launch facilities.
This guy was about 20 or so feet from the side of the road separated from me by a ditch of water. I could *probably* have gotten away if he decided to eat me.
Aside from me and Summer, this was the only other person in all of NYC that recognized what awesome weather we were experiencing. Every other New Yorker was bundled up like it was winter.
If you ask me, this chick needs to lay off the sunbathing.
I took this photo at a small harbour town called Goolwa, just out of Adelaide. My sister and I sneaked across some barriers to take this photo. I was grateful these sunbathing seals helped to create perfect photographic symmetry.
