Geminids 2012. Shot near Thixendale on The Wolds, Yorkshire.
Cloud spots here and there plus the obligatory light pollution. Subzero conditions. I tested white balancing my camera with the LP filter in, won't be doing that again, made post processing a real pain! Hence the pale blue cast.
This is a composite of 2 Shots out of 180+ that had captured meteor trails.
Subzero temperatures have created a lovely winter sight at RSPB Greylake. The early morning sun provides the warm yellow glow.
