Zarkani Aviation Services (ZAS) was founded in the early eighties by two brothers, Sheriff and Emir Zarkani, businessmen from Cairo, who already owned their own travel agency in Cairo and at the airport of Cairo already had their own handling company with clients, such as German Cargo and Martinair.

Besides these businesses they also owned large pieces land which they inherited from their father who was a rich landowner. On these lands mainly green beans were cultivated. The Zarkani brothers saw this ever-larger load of vegetables (especially beans) transported from Cairo to the Netherlands an opportunity and started their own airline under the name ZAS Airline of Egypt in November 1982 with B-707 SU-DAA

While most Kentalopian military tech is either unreliable, borrowed, or both; their Submersible Boats can be quite formidable...when they're working.

Most notable feature of the 230 iteration would be -aside from the slightly more reliable steam analog engine that offers more torque and acceleration but less maximum speed- would be the semi-automatic torpedo reloading system that uses ten rotating barrels, with as many as six able to fire at a time. The concept originated from the 'revolver' handgun, though in practice the system is known to jam frequently.

I like u-boats. :D

My inspiration was an old block print Japanese kimono pattern, that had the three elements of curling smoke (aroma) or water, fans, and a regular geometric background pattern, although my design turned out nothing like its inspiration - as so often happens!
