Una passeggiata per i vicoli stretti e tortuosi dell’Alfama consente di entrare a contatto con l’anima più vera e autentica di Lisbona.

L’antico quartiere moresco risalente all’XI secolo si sviluppa alle spalle del Castello de São Jorge e scende fino al Tago ed è un rione popolare variopinto e pittoresco.

Non ci sono particolari cose da vedere ma scoprire gli angoli più nascosti, le piazzette caratteristiche dove i ragazzi giocano a pallone, I vecchi seduti fuori gli usci delle porte che chiacchierano coi vicini incuranti del continuo passaggio di turisti, i panni stesi sui balconi , i negozietti popolari frequentati dalla gente del posto è un’esperienza unica .

La Revolución de Mayo fue una serie de acontecimientos revolucionarios ocurridos en mayo de 1810 en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, capital del Virreinato del Río de la Plata, dependiente del rey de España, y que tuvieron como consecuencia la destitución del virrey Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisneros y su reemplazo por la Primera Junta de gobierno.

Los eventos de la Revolución de Mayo sucedieron durante el transcurso de la llamada Semana de Mayo, entre el 18 de mayo, fecha de la confirmación oficial de la caída de la Junta Suprema Central, y el 25 de mayo, fecha de asunción de la Primera Junta.

La Revolución de Mayo inició el proceso de surgimiento del Estado Argentino sin proclamación de la independencia formal, ya que la Primera Junta no reconocía la autoridad del Consejo de Regencia de España e Indias, pero aún gobernaba nominalmente en nombre del rey de España Fernando VII, quien había sido depuesto por las Abdicaciones de Bayona y su lugar ocupado por el francés José Bonaparte.

Juráis a Dios nuestro Señor y a estos Santos Evangelios reconocer la Junta Provisional Gubernativa de las provincia del Río de La Plata a nombre del Sr. D. Fernando Séptimo, y para guarda de sus augustos derechos, obedecer sus órdenes y decretos, y no atentar directa ni indirectamente contra su autoridad, propendiendo pública y privadamente a sus seguridad y respeto.

Puente Nuevo, Ronda, Málaga.

En 1735 se construyó el primer puente, derrumbándose seis años más tarde y matando a 50 personas. Al parecer la falta de apoyos, el mal cerramiento del arco y la mala ejecución de la obra hicieron que el puente colapsara.

No fue hasta 1751 cuando se decidió emprender la construcción de un nuevo puente. Para sufragarlo hubo que recoger 15.000 reales de la Real Maestranza e imponer un impuesto en la Feria de Mayo. En su realización intervinieron diversos maestros, aunque el más destacado fue José Martín de Aldehuela, quien finalizó la obra. Finalmente fue inaugurado en mayo de 1793.

De sillería de piedra, el puente presenta un arco central de medio punto apoyado en otro más pequeño por el que transcurre el río. En la parte superior, se encuentran las dependencias del puente que, en otros tiempos, fueron utilizadas como prisión, a cuyos lados se abren otros dos arcos, también de medio punto, que sostienen la estructura que soporta la calle. Más tarde funcionó como mesón y actualmente, es un centro de interpretación del entorno y la historia de la ciudad.
