Una passeggiata per i vicoli stretti e tortuosi dell’Alfama consente di entrare a contatto con l’anima più vera e autentica di Lisbona.
L’antico quartiere moresco risalente all’XI secolo si sviluppa alle spalle del Castello de São Jorge e scende fino al Tago ed è un rione popolare variopinto e pittoresco.
Non ci sono particolari cose da vedere ma scoprire gli angoli più nascosti, le piazzette caratteristiche dove i ragazzi giocano a pallone, I vecchi seduti fuori gli usci delle porte che chiacchierano coi vicini incuranti del continuo passaggio di turisti, i panni stesi sui balconi , i negozietti popolari frequentati dalla gente del posto è un’esperienza unica .

Adquirió su aspecto actual entre 1836 y 1840, cuando se colocó en el centro un enorme obelisco proveniente de Lúxor de más de 3.000 años de antigüedad donado por el virrey de Egipto.
Enmarcando el obelisco se encuentran dos fuentes monumentales de estructura romana, que presentan esculturas en las que se mezclan figuras humanas con animales marinos.
La arquitectura prodigiosa del monte Saint-Michel y su bahía lo hacen el sitio turístico más concurrido de Normandía y uno de los primeros de Francia, con unos 3,2 millones de visitantes cada año.
Las mareas espectaculares de la bahía (hasta 14,5 metros de altura, dos veces al día) contribuyeron mucho a hacer del monte una fortaleza inexpugnable. Durante siglos únicamente era accesible por vía terrestre en los momentos de marea baja, y por vía marítima cuando la marea era alta. Actualmente se puede acceder a la abadía en todo momento gracias a la carretera que lleva a los pies de la roca.
Ría del Nervión o Ría de Bilbao o simplemente la Ría, a su paso entre las avenidas de Abando Ibarra y Universidades, en un día de Otoño con buen tiempo.

L'invaso circolare occupa il luogo dove si trovava il Tempio di Diana (abbattuto nel '700 su progetto dell'architetto Michelangelo Garove). Il Tempio di Diana era la spettacolare meta della passeggiata seicentesca lungo l’Allea Centrale. In mezzo a un lago, in cima ad uno “scoglio” fatto di pietre, al cui interno due canali incrociati consentivano il passaggio delle barche, sorgeva il tempio, edificio a pianta circolare, con copertura a cupola. Marmi, colonne, sculture e decorazioni murarie di conchiglie e madreperla lo impreziosivano. All’interno era una fontana con le statue di Diana e di otto ninfe, dalla quale l’acqua usciva in un rivolo che, attraversando la bocca di diversi “mostri”, rompendosi tra le punte dello scoglio e scendendo lungo le scale, creava effetti ottici e sonori atti a destare “meraviglia”. Soggetti classici e imitazioni di elementi naturali, sculture e architettura si integravano nell’opera e l’acqua aveva fondamentale valore estetico. Fonte: lavenaria.it
