The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen – my final Defender, is here.
Took me long enough, didn’t it? The show has only been out for a couple of months... xD
But here he is, in all his glory. I think this is easily one of my best figures I have ever made, and I am incredibly happy with how it turned out.
Let’s start from the top:
The cowl is a heavily sanded down Daredevil cowl from Cyclopsbricks, with sculpted details around the head to show the cloth that integrates with the cowl.
The torso was completely custom sculpted based off of his suit he wears in Season 2 of Daredevil/The Defenders. I’m very happy with how all of those details came out, it was quite hard to fit them all in! The arms and hands are modified G-BRICKS, with some details removed and additional sculpting.
For the pants/legs, I tried to do minimal sculpting so they don’t look fat, so I just added details for the billy club holders and some more prominent details such as the belts and such.
The billy clubs were made entirely from scratch using styrene and some sculpting to get the textured grips. In the show the clubs can attach in the centre (hence the one being larger than the other), and depending how they disconnect from the centre module, it’s either two separate clubs or they are connected by a wire. To have this in the figure, I added magnets to the inside of the club to allow the two halves to connect. Sadly a wire would have been far too complicated to implement.
I really hope you guys like this figure, please let me know what you think in the comments!
Took a photo of this a couple of days ago with my camera, but the photo was meh, so I tried my dad's one and it's amazing <3
Also, this is probably my favourite figure in a long while, with probably the most effort in a while. Thanks to Chris for the info on the daggers, I used clips off the end of claymore crossguards in the end, I didn't have any styrene about. c:
This would've been finished ages ago but y'know, prelims and stuff get in the way. I finish on Monday though, so expect more soon!
oh yeah and I lost my old new logo so this is a new new one
Although I grew up with Star Wars and they are amongst my favourite sci-fi films of all time, I have deliberately steered away from making any Star Wars custom figs, as Lego already make so many good figs in this line.
However, I think this particular character lends itself well to my style and I'm happy to have a custom Star Wars fig in my collection at last!!
The fig is made from scratch, using loads of fabric for the robes and head bandages. The pouches are sculpted from FIMO, with the staff being created from a mixture of plastic rods, FIMO and a tiny bit of Styrene.
Finally, I opted for carving directly into the hands instead of sculpted on top.
Hope you like it ; )
Not much to be said here actually, but his appearance is based off of how he looks in Season 4 and 5, and after (finally) watching 'Coda' (the mid-season finale) I knew he deserved a figure.
The crossbow was mostly created from scratch using styrene and green stuff, which was built on a base of a Tiny Tactical M4 receiver and a Brickarms AK Stock. The crossbow was also my first attempt at using a sponge to paint the camo - the odd shape of the weapon however made that rather difficult.
For the first time I tried to do a completely original hair sculpt, which I think turned out quite well, despite it not being 100% accurate to Daryl's hair in the series due to the limitations of scale and the minifigure proportions. Unfortunately due to the shoddy lighting due to trying to get both the light and dark colours to balance out, I managed to completely obscure his hair, so my bad. Please forgive me for that and bear with me while I work towards replacing the photo so that it accurately represents what it looks like in real life (which will be done when I get back from my holiday).
Please enjoy!
CB&Q 49536 is an XM4C boxcar. The prototypes were built by the CB&Q Havelock shops in 1966. They were the only waffle side boxcars on the Burlington.
This model is 3d printed sides, Moloco roof, Branchline ends, Accurail underframe, Plano end platforms and lots of fabricated styrene bits. Decals are an old Modeler's Choice set.
I know I'm extremely late to the party AGAIN!! but I really want a few Dark Knight figs for my collection.
I tried to take a slightly different take on the Joker, by doing the bank robbery version, as I don't think too many people have done this one.
Quite pleased with how this turned out, although my photo editing skills are at best childlike ;)
Used a ton of Epoxy Resin for this fig, with the hair, gloves, trousers, mask, facial scars the main part of the bag and a little bit of the suit jacket all made from Magic Sculpt.
There's of course a little bit of Styrene in there somewhere!!
I also modded a Glock with the extended mag.
Definitely 2, maybe 3 or even 4 TDK figs I want to do, until I'm finished with it.
Any comments, faves or critique welcome.
09015 is seen at Barry No 1 dock propelling a rake of TEA tanks wagons which had come from the Powell Duffryn siding located near the old Woodham scrapyards. They had contained Styrene that had been railed from the BP petrochemical plant at Baglan Bay near Swansea. Once over the points by the rear wagon the 09 would haul them up the incline to Barry sidings where 37903 was waiting to work them forward on the thrice weekly 6B15 service. Former SR pilot 09015 is current in a derelict state at Goodman's Yard, Wishaw. This whole area has been completely redeveloped, the area where the train stands now being a main road! 26th June 1995

Lego is a line of plastic construction toys that are manufactured by the Lego Group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. Lego consists of variously colored interlocking plastic bricks made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene that accompany an array of gears, figurines called minifigures, and various other parts. Lego pieces can be assembled and connected in many ways to construct objects, including vehicles, buildings, and working robots. Anything constructed can be taken apart again, and the pieces reused to make new things.
The Lego Group began manufacturing the interlocking toy bricks in 1949. Films, games competitions, and eight Legoland amusement parks have been developed under the brand. As of July 2015, 600 billion Lego parts had been produced.
I know, pretty much everyone's done this mod. I got the random urge to try it last night and see if I could make a working ladder sight.
Materials used: BA M1 Garand, paper clip, styrene strips, tube and half-rod.
This is part of the exhibition called "Wonder" at the Renwick in DC. See it if you can! The artist created this from index cards, styrene, and glue.
Here is my second version of Dragonborn (or Dovahkiin) of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim fame.
I have based this figure on the incredible Dragonborn statue by Gaming Heads. The only detail I decided to exclude on this figure was the scabbard, as on my Altaïr figure it felt clunky to have one.
Everything pictured on the figure was made by me - the weapons were made from styrene and all of the other details were sculpted using Green Stuff, and then painted with Games Workshop paints. I sanded the arms down to give them the shapes of the muscles - too bad you can't really see all of it because of the gauntlets!
Please let me know what you think!

This model depicts National Airlines Boeing 747-135 N77773, MSN 19919 / 81, 'Linda,' delivered to National Airlines in October of 1970. The aircraft was sold to Northwest Orient Airlines in 1976 as N621US.
National Airlines decal by Flight Path. Window decals cannibalized from old Flying Colors and AHS decal sheets. Miscellaneous other detailing decals taken from sundry left-over sheets from earlier projects.

Clone trooper custom I made... largely inspired by one I saw on the Rebel Scum custom forums a while back... pretty much the same "recipe." (Can't remember the guy's name or I'd give him credit.)
It's a biker scout body with a Stormtrooper helmet, and a jacket and gun from some newer G.I. Joes... small barrel modification on the gun with some styrene tubing.
This was a fig that I done as a Christmas present, I just didn't get a chance to upload until now.
It's not the cleanest fig you'll ever see and I'm sure that a few people will say that it doesn't look like Lego, but I really like the way in turned out and I actually really want one myself now ; )
Most of the fig was sculpted from epoxy putty, with the backpack made from styrene and the tubes from Fimo. I had to make a custom moon surface base for this one too!
Hope you all like it!
Once a Chevron Terminal the latest owner's are Transmontaigne and made the news with an application to store styrene. The Villa Hills neighbors are trying to stop the storage.

Pellets of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) are heated and then injected into molds to form LEGO bricks. These pellets are from the LEGO factory, pre-molding. I believe they are from when LEGO sourced their plastic from suppliers pre-dyed.
After the Second World War, the Nickel Plate went on a buying spree to order new 40ft steel boxcars. Following the lineage from the 1937 AAR design, the roofs slowly got higher across a few orders until the 40ft reached its zenith with the Pullman-Standard PS-1 Boxcar. 6769 is the sole survivor of its class, now resting in a consist with NKP GP30 900, Composite Gondola 70130, and Bay Window 423.
This model is NOT the current kit offered by Brick Model Railroader, but instead an unreleased version designed by Cale Leiphart that corrects the height issues and scaling of the first model. This design is 99% his work, with some road specific details such as the underframe being my own design using styrene, Lifelites grabs for the stirrups, and ever so slightly redesigned B-End brake rigging.
This model was built using WeBrick parts and aside from the Pullman Standard logo designed by Cale, all decals were designed by me and printed by OKBrickworks.
I wanted to make Bane soon after I started this hobby, but after seeing Andrews awesome Brick Affliction set, I just thought what's the point?!
I finally felt that I've got to a level to able to do the fig some justice, so I thought I'd give it a bash.
The whole fig is from scratch, with the mask, tac vest and pants being created almost entirely from Styrene sheet and a few other bits of interesting material that I found lying on the ground.
The coat, wrist guard and some of the vest has been made from leather.
The arm muscles and the top of the head were sculpted from Magic Sculpt.
I'm pleased to at last have a decent Bane in my collection, the only problem I have now, is whether to display him in the coat, or with the sculpted arms on show?!!!
C&C welcome, please comment if you fave ; )
Well here it is. This has been a long project and one that I've been wanting to do since before I made my quadeye Navy SEAL.
The reason I finally got around to doing this fig, is due to the release of Minifig.cat's excellent Pilot helmet and face shield, which is perfect for this build.
As per usual, virtually everything is made from Styrene, save for the helmet as mentioned, the base AR rifle and the NVG's. The 3rd party pieces used have been heavily modded and I can honestly say, that I don't think I've ever packed as much kit onto a minifig before.
Comments and faves are always welcome ; )
my ice machine is finished and the Joker is quite happy. this is for a diorama which is taking forever to make.
he is 7", the scale 1:10-1:12.
all scratch built and for something which looks like a box, i found it quite difficult. i've never worked with styrene sheets and that stuff was hard to cut. and expensive!
my poor hands.
the door is something really hard which was the base of an art canvas board from the dollar store.
that was harder to cut than the styrene. i swear i was ready to buy a table saw.
the hardware on the door is bits from an old phone and probably a computer i took apart.
the ends of the refrigeration unit are small pieces of window screen.
the "ice" signs are from photos i took of ice machines. took me a few weeks but i finally found some in the wild. i printed the signs and then cut them out and glued on the surface.

Full body sculpt of Clone trooper armor, painted black. I got the idea after Richard made his stormie. I always like the Phase 1 armor, and still find it better looking than any other trooper variant armor. I sculpted most of it out of greenstuff, with the exception of the knee pads and belt, which was carved from styrene.
DC-15 rifle by brickarms. Love it by the way. Most accurate one on the market right now.
Head used to be from my Eminem figure. Hair was a test which I still think produced insufficient results. Should have sculpted on top of the stud instead of cutting it off.
Black helmet is a casted piece from Brickzalive. Helmet design based on the new Phase 1 TLG clone trooper helmet.
Anyways tell me what yall think. I'm trying to crank out and finish as many customs as I can before I ship.

I'll never forget the first time I saw it at unexpected market store, strictly it was a shock to me. In a flash of crushing insight, I realized she's made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and polyethylene,
and all her friends are literally plastic.
RBH 145 019 - in operation for DB Cargo - in Hannover-Linden with freight 47637 (Osnabrück Rbf - Chełm Śląski), with Wascosa, Ermewa and VTG Zacns tank wagons marked UN 39/2055 (styrene), on October 19, 2023, 13:20.
Untouched genre for me, so this one just jumped the queue after I did the Sylvanian massacre pic, I realised that I might be able to do a decent hockey mask for a minifig, using the same technique.
The figure is from scratch, with the mask and machete both made from Styrene (WHAT ELSE!!). The jacket is full fabric and the hair is animal fur is from some fabric off-cuts that someone gave me (maybe not ethical, but at least it wasn't wasted!).
The jeans have been carved into with a scalpel to give them a weathered, ripped look.
I have also DARED to use the hands from a Megabloks Halo fig, as I wanted fingers for some reason?
Hope you like it, C&C welcome. I'd love a comment if you fave ; )
I noticed this character when playing the prologue mission "FNG" on COD4 Modern Warfare.
When you go to do the room clearing section, he is one of the randomly generated characters standing with Capt. Price in the warehouse (he doesn't always appear as Sgt. Harris!).
The fig is pretty much entirley from scratch, except the Shotgun (Minifig.cat) and the goggles (new Minifig.cat part) which have been modded to include a black shiny visor and cut ti fit over the Balaclava.
The Balaclava is fabric, as is the holster and the black string. The leg straps are leather and all the rest is made from Styrene as usual.
I'm well pleased with how he turned out, as it's often difficult to get the detail to show on all black figs. I'm especially pleased with the little radio receiver and mic on the chest.
C&C welcome.
Commission for a friends kid for Demoman for Team Fortress 2.
Never played the game, but I enjoyed making the fig, especially modding the BrickArms grenade launcher!
Vest base, pouches, weapon mods, leg and arm trim and mustache all made from Styrene, 40mm grenades made from toothpicks and the bottle modded from a Lego trophy.
Hope you like.
C&C welcome.
P.S. I didn't tag anyone other than Mr Clapham, as I wasn't sure if people were finding it annoying being tagged to all my photos. If you are reading this and are one of the people that I usually tag, let me know if you're ok with it and I'll continue to tag.

A "shrine" to display my AC8 collection. Photo for a review on the BAF.
Construction: the AC8s in this display are mounted on five 1/8" (3.2mm) trans-clear styrene rods from Plastruct using one trans-clear monopod and U-clip each. There are two daisy-chained eLite Basic units behind the display, with an LED illuminating each end of all five rods. In addition, there are five LEDs in the bottom forming "spotlights".
See description and notes in this photo for a full explanation.
Here is my custom figure of Eren from the Attack on Titan anime, based on his appearance during his time in the Cadet Corps.
I loved this anime, and Eren was an awesome character. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, please go watch it, you will not regret it!
Anyway, this figure features lots of custom sculpting - the hair and clothing was all sculpted by me. The 'blade holsters' are made using sheet styrene, and the gas canisters are from a Tiny Tactical Flamethrower backpack. The 'swords' are made using Tiny Tactical Glocks as a base, with extra trigger guards and Brickarms M67 Cooking Handle and styrene for the blade itself. The ODM Gear is made using two Tiny Tactical gas masks and two Tiny Tactical suppressors.
This is only the second time I've painted a face, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. I painted this figure with Citadel and Vallejo paints. The logo on his back is hand painted, and I am very proud of it. I hope you like it as much as I do!
The 'blade holsters' are articulated with the ball-joint method, which I will explain in the showcase tomorrow.
Hope you guys like this figure!
1985 Motorola Dynatac 8000X└. The └ Model features an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) case and medium azure buttons. Signal range is significantly reduced. Base price: $3999.95
Winner of the "Art - Realistic Replica" award at Bricks by the Bay 2012
Built for Iron Builder; the piece for this round is the medium azure 1x1 plate with clip.
"Whisper One, this is Whisper Mobile, give me a sitrep."
"Mobile, we're at the barrier fence. I have a visual on the target--he's alive and has given the no-duress signal. After the next searchlight pass we will blow the barrier relay and effect rescue."
"Roger that, Whisper One. We are Oscar Mike to primary LZ. Evac in ten."
The barrier fence is made from 1/8" trans-blue styrene rods, the same kind that I usually cut up to make scope lenses and whatnot. They fluoresce brightly under a blacklight, and the scene is lit with two CF blacklight bulbs. The "searchlight" is a handheld LED flashlight with foil wrapped around it to narrow the beam.
Brickarms used: Energy Pistol prototype, Time Bomb prototype, and three of my modded weapons: left to right, the camouflaged AC8, VSS Vintorez and OTs-14 Groza.
This is my entry for the "Modern Recreate" competition (my first competition!!).
Inspiration for this fig comes from the film “Black Hawk Down”, which depicts the events surrounding “Operation Gothic Serpent” in the city of Mogadishu , Somalia in 1993.
The original plan by the U.S. forces was to capture two high ranking members of the Somali “Habr Gidr Clan”, fronted by local warlord Mohammed Farrah Aidid.
A local civilian uprising stirred up by Aidid’s militiamen, resulted in two U.S. Black Hawk Helicopters being shot down within the city walls and a 24 hour stand off between the relatively small number of U.S. forces and thousands of armed civilians and militia.
The operation was carried out mainly by a task force of U.S. Army Rangers, 1st SFOD-D Operators (Delta Force) and 160th SOAR Pilots (Night Stalkers). A team of four U.S. Navy SEAL’s were later deployed, in an attempt to secure the helicopter crash sites.
3rd Party and Lego pieces used were: TT knee pads, TT base M4 rifle, Minifig.cat goggles and sidearm and a Lego skateboarder’s helmet.
The vest, all pouches, pistol holster, backpack, cantina cant see), shotgun, shotgun shells, radio wire, headset and chinstrap, were all crafted from scratch. This is the first time I’ve made a weapon from scratch!
The goggles have been modded, to include a clear visor and a stretchy fabric strap. The rifle has been modded to include a flash light, pressure switch and power lead, a sight with lens caps and has been given a custom paint job. The helmet has been given a chinstrap and a matte black paint job, with some dry brushing to highlight the vents.
The base fig has a Desert Camo Uniform base (DCU), sculpted leg and arm pouches, leg strapping, U.S. flag patches, a custom headset, cuffs and a tiny bit of paintwork on the face.
The diorama was built entirely from Styrene sheet, save for the oil drum, which I found in a £1 store toy set and painted.
I really enjoyed making the diorama on this one and I think I will have this displayed on it’s own in a little Perspex box ; )
Hope you like it, comments and fave’s are always appreciated ; )

More or less final versions of all of the above. I'm likely to continue improving Chell's paint job over time--at least, until I find a satisfactory set of waterslide decals for her torso and the Aperture logos--but she's good enough to use for making scenes, as are the Portal Gun and Sentry Turret.
Thanks to MooseBot and LDM for the suggestions on the Turret's front legs. I was happy enough with the claws, but the screwdrivers look a bit better. The Turret is still just a bit bigger than it should be, but it's acceptable at the level of abstraction necessary for minifig scale.
Non-Lego or modified parts: Brickarms monopod and bayonet on the Turret. The ASHPD is made from a Brickarms bazooka and MG42 ammo drum, two Lego motorcycle helmets, trans-clear and trans-blue acrylic rods, a paper clip, and some black craft wire. Chell is of course painted, and the springs on her long-fall boots are strips of styrene stock.
There have been many inquiries about the garbage truck that shows up in the early part of the Elgin Park film. So, without further ado,
here it is.
The cab and chassis were borrowed from a Danbury Mint diecast 1950 White truck. The business end was constructed of styrene plastic sheets and plastic rods along with jewelry pieces.
My reference material was from a book I have on the history of the garbage truck.
[highly recommended reading!]
Believe it or not, it is not as complicated as it looks.
As my Dad would say: "look closely at the object then mentally break it down into it's basic shapes."
The whole project took about a week; and no special tools were used. Just an X-acto knife, sanding block and styrene liquid glue.
From my old pc 12th July 2012, don't remember much about this, other than 6E72 Staleybridge - Immingham @ 20.03pm
What tanks where they? update and Quote from friend DH....
"The Stalybridge tanks carried Styrene Monomer from Immingham--some sort of plastic".
This will be on another wall of my office.

Bottom ledge: (50 in display ledge from Home Decorators) 5x7 image framed to 11x14 (frame from Michael's), 23x31 frame from Pottery Barn includes black mat and holds 2 8x10 images, 10x20 storyboard
I'm debating about removing the 10x20 and adding another print to add some height on that side....what do you think??
The Exploration suit: Designed to sustain prolonged amounts of time on the surface world. 2 huge air tanks are on the back, and the suit features many pockets for found valuables, as well as a few "military grade" rounds strapped to one arm. A watch much like Artyom's is on the left arm. A pistol sits in a holster, in case the rifle either runs out of rounds or gets lost. A main light and a backup light is attached to the helmet as well.
Hey guys! Another Metro figure from me! This time, something non-cannon, but something that would be in the game, in an expanded universe sort of thing. TheRaconteur really inspired the color scheme for this figure. The main helmet is made of a cut up and modded Old Lego scuba suit, although this is actually one I had since I was a kid in Russia, so it is clone brand. There is a cut up and modded Si-Dan gas mask, ith a hose running out of it. The pouches are warhammer, the arms are sculpted to look like they are wrinkled, with a few other sculpted details on them (Like the pouch, watch, bullets, etc) The hands are actually Brick Affliction hands, from the Onyx guard, I believe. The legs feature cloth that has been painted over, as well as sclupted and warhammer parts. Gun is bits and pieces of materials as well as leftovers from cut up 3rd party guns. oh and Rich, I made that small dark green canteen out of styrene! =)
Hope you guys enjoy! Please leave comments and criticisms! Thanks! =)
Created from an AC8 and an M41A Pulse Rifle, along with some miscellaneous styrene bitz. The strap is scratchbuilt from craft store ribbon and a small bit of sheet styrene. The barrel is a piece of a Lego whip antenna.
Here's a closeup shot of the Robby the Robot Float, plus the acetylene torch unit.
For the float, the basic structure is 4 ply mat board covered in aluminum from yogurt container lids. [it has an interesting pattern to it]
The Altair background is from a magazine and the space ship is comprised of a plastic dome, a CD and a container from pre-made jello. After everything was glued together, it was spray painted Krylon Silver.
All of the dials on the front of the float are pieces of jewelry and found objects in my parts box.
As I mentioned in the finished photo caption; this float is based on an existing unit that was used in 1956.
As for the acetylene torch...there was a lot of kit bashing going on here, but the actual dolly for the tanks is just some styrene plastic, some thin aluminum tubing plus some wheels taken from an HO scale vehicle.
Here's the completed photo with everything in place:
