Die Liederhalle wurde 1955 bis 1956 nach Plänen von Adolf Abel und Rolf Gutbrod errichtet. 1988 bis 1991 erfolgte eine Erweiterung unter der Leitung von Wolfgang Henning. Sie besteht aus drei unterschiedlich großen asymetrischen Konzertsälen, und gilt als ein herausragendes Beispiel von Konzertgebäuden der Nachkriegszeit.
The songs hall was built from 1955 to 1956 after plans by Adolf Abel and Rolf Gutbrod. 1988-1991 was extended under the direction of Wolfgang Henning. It consists of three different sized asymmetric concert halls, and is regarded as an outstanding example of concert halls of the postwar period.
The Standseilbahn Stuttgart or Stuttgart Cable Car is a funicular railway in the city of Stuttgart, Germany. The line links the Südheimer valley station with the Stuttgart Degerloch forest cemetery in the south quarters of Heslach. Operated by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB), it was opened on 30 October 1929 to facilitate visitors to the forest cemetery which is 90 metres above Stuttgart Heslach. At Südheimer, the funicular connects to Stuttgart Stadtbahn lines U1 and U14.
