Am Samstag, dem 12. November 2011, ludt der Caritasverband für Stuttgart e.V. zur Lichteraktion "Eine Million Sterne" ein. Von 17 Uhr bis 18 Uhr wurden auf dem Schlossplatz in Stuttgart-Mitte Lichter der Solidarität entzündet. Der Präsident des Deutschen Caritasverbandes, Prälat Dr. Peter Neher, hat die Aktion eröffnet.

The Standseilbahn Stuttgart or Stuttgart Cable Car is a funicular railway in the city of Stuttgart, Germany. The line links the Südheimer valley station with the Stuttgart Degerloch forest cemetery in the south quarters of Heslach. Operated by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB), it was opened on 30 October 1929 to facilitate visitors to the forest cemetery which is 90 metres above Stuttgart Heslach. At Südheimer, the funicular connects to Stuttgart Stadtbahn lines U1 and U14.

I had the possibility to use the Zeiss Ikon together with 21/4.5, 50/1.5 and 80/4. It was a very different experience compared to medium format rangefinder (Mamiya 6).

Birkenkopf, Stuttgart: ~45% of Stuttgart was destroyed in WW2. they removed the rubble and brought it to the edge of town and made a 511m hill out of it, mostly covered in dirt, for hiking and remembrance. and wonderful for small children's hide-and-seek games.
