Bullfights are tourist attractions and yet conflicting culture for Spaniards. These two men are waiting for their respective dance with the 400+ kg beast. As in the early surrealistic paintings of Spanish great Dali this picture allows the spectator to look beyond the controversy the cruelty and see these men taking in their view, perspective and persona.

Study Tip: Find a comfortable and quiet place to study with good lighting and little distractions (try avoiding your own bed; it is very tempting to just lie down and take a nap). #studytip #study #studytip #studying #learning #learningstyles #student #studyforfinals

Taken a while ago by my daughter, as I was teaching her to use a DSLR for the very first time (pictures for a school competition). I don't know whether to be proud or annoyed that they're better than most of my pictures, ever!

Incidentally she didn't win the competition, but is now thrilled that "...they're good enough to get on Flickr..."

I'll say!

The wall and skirting board color, against the floorboards. (Walls are Taubmans "Apium", trim and ceiling is "Gazebo White".) My parents accuse me of 'wanting to live in a cave' just because I like dark wall colors. :)

The Rose. Hard to find a good subject out in the yuard with all the rain we have been having in the northeastern US. I found that I like the greens, mixture of yellow and Derwent blue grey that Kate likes. Strathmore cp, 4" x 5" Derwent and Durer pencils.
