These are great when you need to hunker down and just get your work done without distractions. You can check out a study carrel for 4 hours with one renewal. Keys are available at the circulation desk. Carrels are available on the 2nd, 3rd and 5th floor.

Wednesday Evening Lectures were held at the Guildford School of Art between 1963 and 1964 as part of the Liberal Studies course.

Topics covered include; psychology, art history, town planning and architecture, chemistry, physics and philosophy.

After editting the “Raw File of the Week” for week No. 13, I was inspired to produce a picture that showed a book and a pair of glasses in it. Sort of like someone was reading for a ling time then got tired and set the book and glasses down to rest.

It didn’t take long to come up with the ingredients – just grabbed my Bible and took my glasses off. The hard part was finding a place to actually take the picture. My house is NOT conducive to photo taking. I used a desk in my office and got a few shots off.

After the post processing, I named it “Study Time”. I think it fitting for a Sunday afternoon, don’t you?

.

This is my favorite room in the house.

The study hall in the old main building (now demolished) of Wasco Union High School. This was where students gathered before and after school or at lunchtime, particularly on cold or rainy days. It should have been called the social hall. My note on the back of the print says that is Pat Few in the center of the picture.

No more exams for this study week! But I'm still to come tomorrow - the results for two of the disciplines will be announced. Phew. Somewhat tired.

P.S. I am also busy with getting a visa. So, it seems to be really like that - I am going to Estonia to take part in a conference. Toi-toi-toi.

P.P.S. One of the previous test - I got the paper back only today. Should I say I am really satisfied with the result? Ha! And one more things about me revealed.
