I took this photo with a split second I saw my husband turn the page of this photo magazine. I had a camera beside me. Till now I still don't know why I took it, but I like it. It's talking to me.

John had a sleep study last week. They hooked him up to even more wires then shown. It's amazing, but he was able to fall asleep.

Students studying in Reeve Union after getting back from Spring Break.

Just wrapped up my 9 hour study session for math. Spent just over 17 hours this weekend studying. Hopefully its all worth it for the test tomorrow. But this is how the desk looked at the end of the session.

For much of the 20th century, Duke freshmen had to wear dinks (first a beanie and later a floppy hat) and women a yellow bow. If Duke won the annual Duke-UNC football game, the freshmen and women could discard the bow. However if Duke lost, the bow had to be worn until the end of the first semester.

This is a picture of me sitting on my couch in the living room studying for a biochemistry exam. I'm majoring in nutrition and this is probably my hardest class this semester. I study for this class more than I study for any other.

This is a study of different drawing techniques, as well as grading varients. This is also the origin of my "Rat". The model I used to draw the pointelism eye is of the famed singer Madonna.

According to Wikipedia:

Couscous or kuskus as it is known in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Libya (pronounced /ˈkuːskuːs/ in the US, /ˈkʊskʊs/ in the UK; Berber Seksu - Arabic: كسكس‎, called maftoul in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories) is a dish consisting of spherical granules made by rolling and shaping moistened semolina wheat and then coating them with finely ground wheat flour. The finished grains are about 1 mm in diameter before cooking. The Levantine variant often misquoted as Israeli, is about twice the diameter and made of hard wheat instead of semolina.[2] Traditional couscous requires considerable preparation time and is usually steamed. In many places, a more processed quick-cook couscous is available and is particularly valued for its short preparation time.

Assefaw Bariagaber, Ph.D., director of the Post-Conflict State Reconstruction and Sustainability certificate program and professor at Seton Hall's School of Diplomacy and International Relations, led a group of 15 students on an African Union study tour in Ethiopia from March 5 to March 15, during the University's spring break. The tour included both cultural highlights of Ethiopia's rich history and academic seminars on the African Union, which is headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital.

"The opportunity to participate in this sort of study abroad program was one of the things that drew me to Seton Hall,"says diplomacy master's student John Pollock. "As someone who studied archeology and paleoanthropology as an undergraduate, I'm particularly thrilled to visit the National Archeological Museum to see Lucy [one of the earliest human ancestors ever discovered]."
