On our Warner Brothers studio tour, we passed sound stages like Stage 7, on the left. Having trucks outside them means they're busy with either a movie or a TV show being filmed. Tour groups are not admitted to them. (But we did see the sound stage in which the storm scenes for The Perfect Storm were filmed -- now dry, of course.)

Rearranged my studio so the keyboards are on my left when my right hand is on the mouse. Still hoping to get thick carpet in and an Oberheim OB-8! Note, this is a tiny room (about 11 x 11) but looks bigger because the pic was taken with a very wide angle lens (Sigma 10-20).

Fabric, extra copies of Quilting Happiness, ruler storage, a sweet picture of me and my baby brother eating ice cream on our back porch as kids, and some various precuts, including a favorite stack of fabrics designed by my friend Jeni Baker. The little silver bucket holds scraps that I do not want to hold on to. Eventually this will be a grab bag that I sell, and I like that it all gets organized from the start. I also keep my extra needles in a little vase, ribbons in jars, and my scissors and rotary cutters on this shelf.

Universal Studios Hollywood is a movie studio in Universal City, California, and is the original Universal Studios theme park. Woody Woodpecker is the mascot for Universal Studios Hollywood and the rest of the Universal Studios Theme Parks. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood movie studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is "The Entertainment Capital of LA," though during the summer it is often advertised as "The Coolest Place in LA." It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios soundstages and sets. It is the first of many fully-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks, along with Universal Studios Florida, Universal Studios Japan, and the upcoming Universal Studios Singapore, Universal Studios Dubai, and Universal Studios South Korea theme parks.

Here is a photo of my new studio space..I love having a place for everything...well half my stuff anyway!
this was, but dont know if it still is , the local offices of granada studios. the local television station.
it's tiny and it's a mess and it's filled with equipment, but i love working there and it makes me happy to be surrounded by so much old and weird equipment(some of the old and weird equipment is not included in this shot, but it's there). it's pretty much a one person studio, although i do record singers in here, too. it gets a bit crowded and claustrophobic if i'm in my studio with another person for more than, say, 10 minutes. but i love it (my studio, not the claustrophobia).
At around Noon on Tuesday, June 10, Milk Studios in NYC was evacuated. Firemen filled 15th Street near 10th Avenue as employees rushed out. The cause for alarm was not immediately visible or understood however, photographers and models (in robes) rushed out mid-shoot as a precaution.
